Calling all Daredevil fans! The filming of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has begun ahead of the release of the anticipated first chapter. What's even more exciting about the update is that Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead from Loki Season 2 have secured the director's chair.

Their involvement in the second season will ensure a smooth flow, maximum engagement, and action-packed scenes. The Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 trailer was released on January 17, 2025, igniting curiosity among fans.

While talking about his iconic role as Mat Murdock, aka Daredevil, actor Charlie Cox mentioned Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 at the Fan Expo, San Francisco, saying:

"It’s been so many years since we released any Daredevil content. I’m really excited about it... By the time we release [Daredevil: Born Again Season 1] on March 4th, we’ll already be shooting Season 2. So, it’s just a gift that keeps on giving..."

Since Daredevil fans have waited for years to see Cox reprising his role, the update on Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is a relief, confirming there's more to the story. The character was first introduced in the Netflix series, emerging as one of the highly popular Marvel characters.

Loki Season 2 directors set to take the helm for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

Ahead of the release of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 on March 4, 2025, the filming for the second chapter has officially kicked off. As mentioned earlier, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will be led by directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, known for their work in Tom Hiddleston's hit Loki Season 2.

The president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, also confirmed last year in an interview with Omelete, saying:

"We're really excited to premiere the first season next year, when we'll be filming the second season.

He continued:

"We like the idea of developing series for multiple seasons - after all, that's one of the coolest things about television."

So, even before Charlie Cox updated fans about Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Feige had already shared the plan. As for the upcoming Season 1 on Disney+, it will see Murdock stepping back into the role of a vigilante, while Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) will be seen joining the world of politics in New York City.

What's unique about the show is that it will highlight Murdock and Fisk's attempt to leave behind their violent past, but will it really happen? We will get to know on March 4.
