"Crazy and mad": 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Sunny opens up about his dad’s possible reaction to his and Veah’s engagement

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days released its latest episode on December 29, 2024. Episode 18, titled "Before We Say Goodbye", featured Sunny proposing to Veah after they go hiking to a waterfall.

Later that day, as their time together ended, they traveled by car. The couple hadn't yet shared the news of their engagement with anyone. After Veah asked Sunny to be "honest" and "open" with his family about the fact that they were engaged, Sunny confided to the cameras:

"I know for Veah it's a really important conversation that she wanted to share with my dad. But she don't know my dad at all. And I know my dad is not going to accept anything, and he's going to get crazy and mad. This could even ruin my relationship with my father. But other side of it, Veah is my fiance."

Sunny added:

"Veah is my woman now. So I have to stand by her also. I just hope my father will understand how much love we have for each other."

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days: Sunny shares his concerns about how his father might react to their engagement

When Sunny asked how Veah felt after getting engaged, she said she didn't want to leave that place. 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Sunny mentioned he enjoyed that there were only two of them, and "not other people" bothering them or their relationship. Veah said that it was "magical."

"Yesterday was the most amazing happiness that happened in my life. Veah is wearing my ring, and she is willing to say that she is my fiance and she's gonna be my wife. That makes me feel like I have a family. I am a family man now," said Sunny.

However, the Sunny added that he felt "sad" as they had to leave. The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star mentioned that Veah's flight home was after two days and that they had to "face the real world."

While leaving, Veah confessed:

"It feels amazing to have Sunny as my fiance. To know he chose me even though I'm not converting and its going to lead to lots of obstacles for him. It just shows me howmuch he loves me. It's a good feeling to have somebody there for you."

While traveling by car, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days couple talked about how they got engaged and no one else knew about it.

"Other side of my heart is scared like, how I'm gonna tell people. Just last time, things didn't go well with my dad," shared Sunny.

The segment featured a flashback clip from when Veah met Sunny's father for the first time. In the clip, her potential father-in-law can be seen telling Veah how her tattoo was "totally wrong."

"You have to take it out. The tattoo," Sunny's father said in the clip.

When Veah mentioned Sunny liked her tattoos, his father disagreed, saying he "didn't think so."

Recalling Veah's first meeting with his dad, the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star confessed:

"I don't like keeping secrets from my dad. But I know my father. He's going to need time to accept Veah as a daughter-in-law. My dad was very displeased with her behavior the first time they met. And I know that he won't accept that she's not going to convert her religion.

After Veah's continuous talks about being honest with Sunny's family, especially his father, Sunny told her that she didn't know his father "at all." He said that his father wouldn't accept Veah and that he would get "crazy" and "mad."
