Over its six seasons, Cobra Kai has featured many cameos, usually from celebrities who starred in The Karate Kid. However, the final five episodes of the show's latest season are now live, and the cameos have taken fans by surprise. Although the episodes still featured cameos by prominent The Karate Kid stars like Darryl Vidal, one cameo that truly stood out to fans was that by Saved By The Bell star, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren.
The actress even posted about her excitement to join the cast for Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 on her Instagram.
Elizabeth Berkley Lauren has delivered several acclaimed performances throughout her career, but her performance in the four seasons of Saved By The Bell has stood out as one to remember for many fans.
In Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3, the popular actress appears when Daniel and Amanda LaRusso try to set up their friend Chozen on a date with her, trying to help him get over his heartbreak with Kumiko. Berkley appears as Winnie, who is Amanda's friend on the show.
The date starts off on a shaky note, where Chozen does not show any interest in Winnie's conversation about reiki treatments and tarot readings. However, when the conversation steers towards trashy television series, specifically Storage Wars, things begin to escalate between the two.
The cameo was a welcome surprise for fans, even though it was not by a Karate Kid star, and Lauren's performance here has been considered to be much more delightful than the sequel of Saved By The Bell.

Cobra Kai creators divulged how they zeroed down on Elizabeth Berkley Lauren for the Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 cameo
According to Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 co-creator Jon Hurwitz, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren was among the top choices for actresses when they were narrowing down their choices regarding who they could cast as Chozen's date.
""The idea of Chozen being on a double date with the LaRussos was fun for us, and we’ve alluded to Moon’s mom several times over the course of the seasons. So this was finally our opportunity to bring her to life. And when we were putting together our list, Elizabeth Berkley was right at the top of the list."
The American director revealed that Lauren was somebody they had all grown up watching, so when the idea was pitched to Billy Zabka, he agreed immediately.
"She was somebody that we were all fans of growing up. And we showed Billy [Zabka], who was directing that episode, our list, and immediately, he zeroed in on Elizabeth Berkley as well."
Moreover, according to Hurwitz, things worked out perfectly for them, as Elizabeth Berkley Lauren is allegedly a fan of the show, so when the idea was pitched to her, she agreed to the role immediately.
