"Christine and I were better friends than we were lovers, and I'm very glad she's had this experience. And so me watching it, voyeuristically is.... It's going to be fun. You're going to really enjoy watching Christine fall in love and get silly and dumb the way lovers become."

Kody Brown shares his thoughts about ex-wife Christine marrying David Woolley on Sister Wives Season 19

Before the show's season 19 premiered on TLC on September 15, 2024, Kody appeared for an interview with People on September 13 and shared how he and his ex, Christine, have been better "friends" than "lovers." Kody added that he was "very glad" about the "experience" Christine has been having.

Kody Brown expressed his happiness for his ex-wife Christine by saying that seeing Christine "falling in love" is "cute."

For viewers who are unaware, former couple Kody and Christine share six kids: Aspyn Kristine, Mykelti Ann, Paedon Rex, Gwendlyn Genielle, Ysabel Paige, and Truely Grace.

After being with Kody for about 25 years, Christine divorced the Sister Wives star in 2021 and married her now-husband, David Woolley, in October 2023. Kody refers to Woolley as a little "shy" and his love story with Christine as a "fun experience."

"It's just cute. It's fun. It's fun watching them fall in love," shared Kody Brown.

On the other hand, Christine describes David Woolley as a "phenomenal person" and "outstanding" as she felt like she "won a gold mine." She also shared that being with Woolley is "simple" compared to her relationship with Kody Brown.

"It's really simple. It's a simple, simple life. And I didn't know I could have a simple life with somebody," she said. "I come with a lot of complications, and he loves me — and that's the best thing of all."

Referring to the recently premiered 19th season of Sister Wives, Kody also said that the show will feature Christine and her husband Woolley as "lovers" as they have become "silly and dumb."
