"Change the entire world"—Shark Tank's Robert Herjavec spares some "New Year" suggestions

Shark Tank investor Robert Herjavec entered the new year with sparing some suggestions for his followers. The business mogul believes in teaching as much as he can through his end, and his Instagram profile is a testament to that. One would find an immense collection of posts uploaded to educate the general public about either business or life-related lessons.

In one such post, uploaded on January 2, 2025, Robert Herjavec shared a new year post with a unique twist. Instead of sharing his holiday or New Year plans, he opted to share a quick but crucial advice to steel towards a successful year.

He started by wishing his followers "Happy New Year, everyone. Welcome to 2025"; moved ahead to present gratitude towards the achievements, opportunities, and all the dreams that he could make come true.

He then shared an important suggestion and said:

"You always overestimate what you can achieve in 1 year, and you underestimate what you can achieve in 10. 10 years ago, I was living in a rented apartment, in Los Angeles. Long story, not a great time in my life. "
And 10 years later, I've completely altered my life to places and heights I can't even imagine. I've been very fortunate, but I'm telling you, you can change the entire world and your life and everyone you love in 10 years." added Robert Herjavec.

Shark Tank's Robert Herjavec is the first guy in his family to get post-secondary education

Robert Herjavec is one of the perfect epitome of resilience and hard work getting personified. The Shark Tank investor does not believe in "work-life" balance and wishes to work relentlessly. It is because of this undying effort to push through, he is one of the top Investors in the business.

However, the cyber security mogul wanted to quit his secondary education because it was "boring" until his father put sense into his mind.

Herjavec posted a video on his Instagram in which he was being interviewed; he revealed that he wanted to quit studying business and he came back from University after 6 months. He found all the numbers exhaustive and was not a "math guy."

However, he was confronted by his father, to whom he said that he would find a job and quit the University. His father told him:

"I love you, son but you go back to school or I kill you, and bury your body in the backyard."

Shark Tank's Herjavec then revealed that this advice from his father changed his life, and he became the first person in his generation from his entire family to get a post-secondary education.


Robert Herjavec joined Season 16 as one of the main investors in Shark Tank.
