The seventh season of The Circle was released on Netflix on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. The first batch of Season 7 includes the first four episodes. The debut episode featured participants' introductions, and they were allowed to set up their "Circle" profiles.
While some players joined the game show as themselves, a few preferred to present themselves as someone else, i.e., Catfishing on the show. It included Deb (catfishing as Rachel), Heather (catfishing as Andy), JoJo and Nicky (catfishing as Gianna), and Kevin (Catfishing as a lifeguard) on The Circle Season 7.
Among the players, the show's first episode featured two participants who got "a blue tick" and became influencers: Savannah and Heather (catfishing as Andy). Seeing herself in the top two and becoming an influencer, Savannah shared,
"Oh my God! I'm an influencer. Oh my God. Let's freaking go! Is it hot in here, Sam, or is that just as 'cause we're on fire?"
The Circle Season 7 Episode 1: Andy and Savannah become "influencers" with a "blue tick"
The first episode of the social game show featured participants' ratings, and things got more interesting. Each of the players was supposed to rate their fellow competitors. The ones who get the highest ratings become the Top Two players. They receive a special "blue tick" on their profile and are then called "Influencers."
After the selected players become the influencers, they also hold special power. It includes choosing a player to "block" on the show.
For the first episode, the participants on The Circle were Andy, Darian, Gianna, Jadejha, Kevin, Rachel, and Savannah. As per their ratings, later on, the show revealed the results, which were:
- 7th position: Gianna, aka JoJo and Nicky
- 6th position: Rachel, aka Deb
- 5th position: Darian
- 4th position: Kevin
- 3rd position: Jadejha
- 2nd position: Savannah
- 1st position: Andy, aka Heather
Seeing the ratings results revealed, Heather couldn't stop crying while Savannah danced in front of her screen and talked to her dog. Upon becoming the influencers, Savannah and Heather, aka Andy's profiles, were awarded blue ticks around their profile photos on The Circle Season 7.
"Look at the blue check marks," shared Jadejha.
Deb was "happy" for Savannah and thought whether she would keep Rachel in the game or block her.
"I'm hoping that the chat that I had with Andy earlier today I hope he really appreciates it and he wants to keep on rocking out with your boy," shared Darian.
Twins JoJo and Nicky still could not believe that they came last. They also discussed how their "biggest ally," Rachel, came in sixth place.
"What the hell just actually happened? Like, of all people, us last? Rachel sixth? Our biggest ally? We're both on the chopping block," discussed JoJo and Nicky.
Later on, The Circle Season 7's first episode featured newly appointed influencers Heather and Savannah discussing who to block on the show.
