Since its renewal announcement at Tudum: A Global Fan Event back in 2023, fans have been eagerly waiting for Luke Brunner (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) to make his comeback in Fubar Season 2. Well, guess what? The hilarious and loud spy-comedy is all set to premiere on Netflix. The show's release date has finally been announced by Netflix, along with some key art for the second installment of the show. June 12 cannot be here fast enough.

Show creator Nick Santora, who has also worked on the Prime Video hit Reacher and Prison Break, revealed that they had a lot of surprises for Fubar Season 2 fans. One of those surprises is the casting of Carrie-Anne Moss opposite Schwarzenegger. Key art revealed by Netflix features her, and she's set to play Greta Nelso, a German spy who is also Luke's ex (I smell trouble).

Here's everything we know about Fubar Season 2 and Moss' role in it.

Fubar Season 2 has introduced Carrie-Anne Moss in opposition to Arnold Schwarzenegger's Luke, an old military officer, as a mysterious ex-girlfriend who is hell-bent on ruining his life or ending the world. In conversation with Tudum, Moss talked about her casting in the show and her time on sets of Fubar

"I talked to Nick, who I’d actually worked with before, and he pitched it to me, I watched the show, and I laughed so hard. And in the way that he described Greta, I just thought it would be really, really fun. And, of course, working with Arnold was just an amazing thought in my mind — like, how amazing would that be?"
We just got to have so much fun, I don’t know if I’ve ever had so much fun doing a job.

Nick Santora also talked about Moss and Schwarzenegger as a brilliant duo who have come together to create a fun and engaging show

They are icons, They know how to do action, be funny, and create full and engaging characters. So it was great to just sit back and watch them do their thing.

As of now, there aren't any explicit details about the plotline that the show might follow, but Netflix's tagline for the key art reveal called it "2x the spies. 2x the action. 2x the FUBAR."

Santora revealed when Season 1 of Fubar had just ended that Luke's extended family will have a lot of involvement in Fubar Season 2. He explained that

"In Season 2, we’re going to go in knowing there might be a rat in the kitchen. And what are they going to do about that?” Not to mention that Luke and all his fellow agents’ identities have been exposed. “They’re in deep dog doo-doo, for sure,"

It looks as if the entire cast had a hoot filming the Fubar Season 2, so hopefully, there's a lot of fun in store for the audience.
