Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary has high hopes for newly elected President, Donald Trump, and, Alberta Premier, Danielle Smith. His recent meeting with both leaders has opened new doors for discussion on "tackled tariffs, pipelines, and why a strong Canada-U.S. partnership matters," as Mr. Wonderful himself mentioned.

Kevin O'Leary joined Fox News to discuss meeting with Trump and Danielle Smith. The reporter hesitated to divulge the exact details but wanted to know Kevin's overall experience. Kevin mentioned that their meeting is no secret anymore, as the information is out to the public. He shared his thoughts on Alberta's Premier and her as the most "pragmatic leader."

Kevin has been campaigning for merging Canada with the U.S. and has recently emphasized a lot on the potential of the Canada-U.S. partnership. He opened up about his conversation with the President and remarked:

"I told Trump straight: the Trudeau policies have been a disaster, but Canada isn't done. Alberta has massive potential, and Danielle is leading the charge to bring capital back."

He also mentioned that Alberta's energy potential is a powerhouse, and to get its benefit it is important that Canada extend the hand of partnership with the U.S. as Alberta and the U.S. share a special relationship

Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary believes that Alberta's Premier, Danielle Smith is "far ahead of other Canadian politicians"

Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary is highly appreciative of Alberta's Premier, Danielle Smith. After meeting President Donald Trump, along with her at Mar-a-Lago, he mentioned that Danielle's relationship with Trump is "unique" and she is a "smart politician" to deal with it. He quoted Danielle's analogy about the Canada-U.S. relationship and said:

"As she likes to put it, and I think she was really getting ahead of the narrative, very smart of her, to say, look. We're in a long term marriage with the people in United States. We're not dating. We're married. Sometimes couples have some problems."
"They get into a little tiff. But because they've been married forever, they work it out. And that's she's so far ahead of other Canadian politicians because she came down to Mar-a-Lago last night."

Shark Tank investor also mentioned that Danielle Smith took the effort to meet other cabinet members present there, creating an amicable environment. He was glad that Danielle was part of the "red wave" going on in Canada, and represented Conservatives.

This supports the relationship between Canada and the current President Trump, who is from the Conservative Party. O'Leary is looking forward to the positive outcomes of this partnership.
