Bridgerton: Netflix drops BTS moments from Season 4 

Netflix has dropped an official sneak peek into Bridgerton Season 4 for all the soaring hearts who cannot wait for the next season. Since the next season will reportedly premiere in 2026, fans can relish the new BTS footage of their favorite cast members returning for a new season.

As earlier confirmed, Bridgerton Season 4 is Luke Thompson's Benedict's season, who will romance debutant Yerin Ha's Sophie Baek in a masquerade ball.

The new season's first episode will feature a lavish masquerade ball hosted by Lady Bridgerton, where Benedict will lock eyes with his new love interest. As confirmed by Hugh Sachs, who plays Brimsley on the show, fans can expect many new lavish costumes in the upcoming season.

And keeping on Sachs' promise, the BTS footage features new and returning cast members in fabulous costumes and ball gowns that could take every breath away.

Bridgerton Season 4 will feature a masquerade ball

Promising to take you back in the Regency era, Bridgerton Season 4's newest released BTS footage shows the upcoming season will feature a lavish ball.

As Thompson discussed the upcoming season in an interview with Netflix's Tudum:

“The storyline is a bit of a twist on ‘Cinderella.’ You remember being told those stories as a child — the magic and the romance of them. It’s really exciting to have that weaved into the world that we know of Bridgerton … It’s such a great story, but it’s also, I hope, really relatable.”

Seems like the makers want to make good on the promise of a Cinderella-like fairytale, with a lavish ball that also introduces Ha as Sophie. She talks about the challenges of her character in an interview with Netflix's Tudum:

“What drew me to Sophie was that she immediately has obstacles — something that she constantly has to overcome. Whether it’s this battle around social status or trying to hide her feelings from Benedict.”

Along with Ha, fans will also get to see many new characters in Bridgerton Season 4, which includes Michelle Mao as Rosamund Li, Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun, and Isabella Wei as Posy Li.

Besides Thompson, fan favorites Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley will reprise their respective characters as Anthony and Kate Sharma in the upcoming chapter. Bailey is seen sporting a bearded look in the BTS footage and the fans cannot seem to get enough of his new look.

The new footage has instilled a new wave of excitement among the show's fans, as they are willingly waiting to see Benedict's fairytale romance, but it will be a while before they get to see Season 4 on Netflix.
