Referring to his October 8 episode, in which he came in third place, Andrew shared that it was "the best" experience of his life despite not having watched the show yet. The Jeopardy! player opened up about being visually impaired.

Furthermore, Andrew shared that even though he would go on "knocking stuff" with his cane all day, the crew members were "chill" about it.

"These were definitely not my categories which made it easy to cope with the L knowing my opponents had played so well on such a challenging board. GG boys."

Fans shared their views upon learning about Andrew and his condition, followed by crew members' appreciable behavior.

One of Andrew's fellow competitors, Gino Montoya, aka @GLMONTOYA, replied to Andrew and mentioned,

"Hello Andrew. Great game all round, and I'm really glad to have been up there with you and Mark! I hope you're well and enjoying fatherhood! Gino Montoya."

Another Reddit user sharing a similar eye condition with Andrew, @WeAllHaveReasons, shared,

"Andrew, I'm visually impaired myself, though admittedly to a lesser degree, and a former member of the contestant pool. I was wondering if you could possibly elaborate on what accommodations the show was able to provide for you? It'd be useful for those of us hoping to follow suit."

For the viewers who are still unaware, the Jeopardy! player has X-linked Retinitis Pigmentosa, i.e., XLRP. It is one of the genetic diseases leading to blindness. Andrew, one of the platform's active users, also shared about his condition earlier.

He was diagnosed at the age of 13 and also went under corrective surgery about three years ago.
