In a recent interview with The Cut, Jenna Ortega revealed that series producer-director and creators are all of the opinion that Ortega knows Wednesday better than anyone else. So, they were open to the idea of including Jenna as a producer on the second season.
"I spend so much time with those guys, They trust me enough to know what Wednesday would think and do."
Her co-actor Emma Myers, is of the opinion that it is a positive development for Ortega to be a part of the production team. In conversation with The Cut, she made it clear that Jenna was her co-actor before being a producer. This meant that Ortega was always looking out for her co-actors.
"Jenna looks out for us, She’s very collaborative. She always told me if there’s anything that I was uncomfortable with, anything I didn’t like, to come to her and she’ll bring it to the table."

Myers revealed that Ortega being 'a boss' in Wednesday Season 2 has been for the benefit of the rest of the cast. As a co-actor, she is always open to the rest of her cast to come up to her with anything they are concerned about. As a producer, she uses her voice to present her thoughts on their concerns to the table, making sure they are heard.
"Her being a boss was definitely for the benefit of the cast."
Emma Myers, who plays Enid, Wednesday's happy-go-lucky, pink-loving roommate, has a glowing opinion of her Wednesday Season 2 co-star Jemma Ortega. The new season is all set to premiere in the latter part of 2025, although an official release date has not yet been announced.
