"I got a chance to see him in the hospital and even when he came out of surgery," Anise shared.
She emphasized that contrary to what many expected, her husband did not die immediately at the scene. This allowed them precious final moments together.
"We had a beautiful goodbye. He didn't die upon the poll, which most people were surprised because 40,000 mw were hitting him every millisecond," she stated.
Following her husband's passing, Anise decided to further her education while raising their children alone.
“When my first husband died, I took the time to regroup, started my academic process and get my children grown.” Anise said.
