If you've been thinking of watching a sci-fi TV series that will blow your mind, renowned author Stephen King has already suggested two: Silo and From. The American author is best known for books related to horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, and fantasy.

Stephen King's impressive storytelling skills have transformed him into one of the most influential and successful authors in modern times. He recently shared his thoughts on Bluesky, stating:

"There are really only two "mystery box" shows that I felt were worth my time last year and this coming year (for "mystery box shows," think LOST): FROM and SILO. As always, your mileage may differ."

King has left room for different opinions, and according to him, the Apple TV+ shows Silo and John Griffin's From are the two worth-watch series. The author also mentioned that the two shows are slightly similar to Lost, but the themes are impressively different.

Since its first season, From has intrigued fans with the supernatural forces that trap the residents of a small town. The characters have to ensure their survival in a hazardous environment, especially at night.

Whereas, the Apple TV+ series features Rebecca Ferguson in the leading role and is based on Hugh Howey's novel series. In this sci-fi series, a large number of residents live inside a massive underground structure called the "silo."

They're told that the world above is toxic, but when Ferguson's Juliette Nichols starts her investigation, she gradually uncovers a dark truth. Continue reading to learn more about the Apple TV+ series.

This isn't the first time when American author Stephen King has praised a series. In his latest post on Bluesky, he didn't hesitate to mention that Silo is one of the series worth his time.

As mentioned above, it follows the story penned down by Hugh Howey in his novel series, in which he tells how the main character Juliette Nichols uncovers deeply hidden truths about her place.

The residents in the giant structure believe that they are being kept under protection as the world outside is toxic and uninhabitable due to a post-nuclear disaster. They have to follow strict rules and are prohibited from going outside.

However, a few rebellious characters, led by Juliette Nichols question such claims and they begin a quest to find the truth. As they dive deep into the investigation, they suspect the structure's IT department, led by Bernard Holland of hiding the truth and manipulating the information to maintain control.

Silo Season 2 has arrived on Apple TV+ and will conclude on January 17th with its tenth episode. It focuses on various key characters as they try to find out what the authorities have been hiding.
