Apple TV+ has dropped the official trailer for The Studio, an upcoming comedy series starring Seth Rogen as a movie executive trying to save a struggling Hollywood studio. The trailer, which gives a peek into the chaos and absurdity of running a film studio, features a star-studded cast and a barrage of celebrity cameos, including Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Ron Howard, and more.

The show is set to premiere on March 26, 2025, with the first two episodes streaming on Apple TV+, followed by weekly releases every Wednesday until May 21.

Created by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez, The Studio centers on Matt Remick (played by Rogen), the newly appointed head of the fictional Continental Studios. He’s tasked with keeping the company afloat in an industry facing social and economic turmoil.

The series dives into the daily grind of studio life, with Matt and his team navigating endless obstacles, from pushy corporate suits to eccentric creatives. Alongside Rogen, the main cast includes Catherine O'Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders. The show is produced by Lionsgate Television and Point Grey Pictures, with Rogen and Goldberg also directing several episodes.

The trailer for The Studio kicks off with Seth Rogen’s character, Matt Remick, eagerly sitting down to watch a movie trailer. But his excitement quickly gives way to the chaos of his day-to-day life as the new head of Continental Studios.

The trailer jumps right into the mess, showing Matt stumbling through industry politics, struggling to manage an office full of high-strung executives, and clashing with demanding celebrities. It’s clear from the start that Matt’s job is a pressure cooker, and he looks like he’s barely keeping it together.

We see Matt trying to balance his dream of making great films with the harsh realities of the business. He drops movie titles like Rosemary’s Baby and Annie Hall, only to undercut himself with a blunt reminder about Hollywood’s problematic history.

The trailer doesn't hold back on the absurdity, showcasing scenes where Matt awkwardly interrupts a set visit involving Sarah Polley and Greta Lee and fumbles through marketing meetings and award shows. His team, played by Catherine O'Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders, all look equally exasperated, adding to the comedy.

The real kicker, though, is the lineup of celebrity cameos. The trailer is packed with big names, including Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Ron Howard, Bryan Cranston, and many more. Most of them seem to be there to tear into Matt, delivering lines with varying degrees of irritation and anger.

There’s a rapid-fire montage of people yelling at him, from mild annoyance to full-blown rage, with Catherine O'Hara and Kathryn Hahn leading the charge.

The Studio is set to debut on Apple TV+ starting March 26, 2025.
