As The Voice season 26 is almost ready to wrap up, the first part of its live finale went live on NBC on Dec 9. The five standing contestants picked up their microphones and decided to give their best for one last time on the show. With a record deal and a cash prize of $100,000 on the line, none decided to hold back.
The finale episode began with a performance by the British rockstar Danny and was soon followed by Jeremy, Shye, Sydney, and Sofronio. Each of them performed twice last night to prove to America one last time why they deserve to be where they are.
From Team Gwen, it was 16-year-old, the youngest finalist of the season, Sydney Sterlace. In round 1, Sydney decided to sing “I Love You, I’m Sorry” by Gracie Abrams. Her performance not only made the judges emotional, but also her fans from across the globe couldn't stop talking about her.

After making Snoop emotional with her first performance, Sydney returned on stage one last time to sing her rendition of “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol.
The Voice season 26 coach, Reba McEntire, complimented her on her growth and how she is an inspiration to many little girls out there,
"Sydney, that was great. You still are really 25 right? You know you have a huge responsibility moving forward. No matter what happens tonight or tomorrow night...um...little eyes will be watching you, girl. So remember that you little sisters, everybody, will be looking up to you for guidance. So keep that in mind as you move forward because you've got a powerful voice, not only in singing but what can really help somebody down there."
Soon after Reba's comment on Sydney's last solo of the season, her mentor on The Voice, Gwen, couldn't hold her emotions too,
"Listen, this has been my dream to work with you...I...I'm so happy that you chose me to be your coach and I'm like emotional because I don't know, just watching you up there and taking a song like that...that really just...it's very specific to do a song like that and you just kept building it and building it and your voice is so beautiful and angelic and how I don't know how you're doing it but I'm so proud of you."
You can watch the first part of The Voice finale on NBC. The winner of the show will be announced tonight at 9/8c on NBC so don't miss out to see who takes home the big win.
