"America is about the possibility"- Shark Tank's Robert Herjavec answers what makes the show a 'success'

Shark Tank has been around as a business reality show for more than a decade now and has left an imprint on the audiences as well as the entrepreneurs who got a monumental push through it. The show was adapted from a British TV series by the name, Dragon's Den. ABC became the official broadcast partner for the show in the USA and premiered the show in 2009.

Robert Herjavec is one of the names synonymous with the show. The Croatian-Canadian investor has been one of the main sharks on the panel, leveraging his expert advice and millions of investments. As nobody can know the deep waters better than a shark, Herjavec has decoded the perfect answer as to why Shark Tank reached its zenith of success as a show.

He posted a video of a brief interview on Instagram and revealed what made Shark Tank so prodigious. He said:

"We are the mirror to America. I think anything is possible. When people come out on our show, I mean, we've been filming for 14 years, and we're all busy, and we're all doing other things. But when those doors open and somebody comes out, it's their opportunity to change their life. And as melodramatic as it sounds, America is about possibility."

Shark Tank's Robert Herjavec believes that the show has the potential to change lives

Robert Herjavec promoting Shark Tank and claiming that it has the potential to change lives could not be news to anybody. The amount of exposure and opportunities the show has provided to the founders is exceptional. Herjavec claiming that it has impacted lives in a much greater sense would not be an overestimation.

The show running since 2009, and has given several successful entrepreneurs, who have their own identities now. These investments have made the sharks grow potential as well. Be it Herjavec's Tipsy Elves investment. Lori Greiner's Scrub Daddy, Mark Cuban's DUDE Pipes, and so on.

Herjavec in his Instagram post mentioned that the growth in entrepreneurs is so evident that eyes speak for them. He also exclaimed that getting the opportunity to impact so many lives as an Investor and a shark is one of the reasons why loves the show.

"And when those people come out, I mean, you Kelly, you see it in their eyes. Like, it completely changes their lives. And I love that about the show" said Robert Herjavec.
