Meanwhile, there have also been discussions about Charlie Cox’s potential future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since the actor is officially a part of the franchise now, it would not be surprising to see him collaborating with other superheroes in the upcoming Avengers films.

Charlie Cox recently had an interview with SFX Magazine where he opened up about the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again and his future in the MCU. After playing the blind lawyer in Netflix’s Daredevil from 2015 to 2018, the actor says he feels lucky to get the opportunity to put on the superhero costume again:

“I feel rejuvenated and lucky and blessed that I'm still being given the opportunity to play this character. You so rarely get to do such a varied palette of tasks as an actor.”
“I get all of this cool stuff as a lawyer, I get emotional scenes with various love interests, and then I get to wear an awesome superhero costume and jump off rooftops.”

Charlie added that despite playing Matt Murdock for 10 years, he still loves the character. He further joked it would be interesting to see who gets tired of the character first: Marvel or him. The interviewer then asked him how he would feel if he got to lead the Avengers. Charlie replied:

“That would be awesome.”

While the actor seems open to being part of the Avengers films, Marvel has not yet made an official announcement about his casting. However, he still has a long way to go in the MCU as Daredevil: Born Again has already been renewed for a second season.
