When it comes to a hilarious take on an underfunded school, ABC's Abbott Elementary is the first show that pops into most people's minds. The mockumentary series traces the daily victories and challenges of teachers attempting to improve their Philadelphia public school.
Developed by Quinta Brunson, Abbott Elementary centers around committed teachers such as Janine Teagues, Barbara Howard, and Gregory Eddie. Although the most beloved character on the series is Janine, Tyler James Williams' Gregory also has a good number of followers.
The actor not only plays one of the permanent teachers in the school but also the love interest of Janine. Williams' acting skills in the acclaimed sitcom earned him notable recognition and a Golden Globe and multiple Emmy nominations.
Adding to his already triumphant career, Tyler James Williams is set to take on an exciting role at this year’s Disney Dreamers Academy. This annual program is designed to inspire and mentor high school students, and the actor is a part of it now.
Interestingly, Williams will serve as the "DREAMbassador" of the Disney Dreamers Academy, held at Walt Disney World from March 26 to 30. Since the Abbott Elementary star has significant experience, he'll engage the 100 selected students through workshops, interactive sessions, and a powerful commencement ceremony.

Abbott Elementary star Tyler James Williams Joins Disney Dreamers Academy
While Tyler James Williams is best known for playing Chris in Everybody Hates Chris, his role in ABC's Abbott Elementary became a fan-favorite. The actor has been in the sitcom since the first chapter, and now fans are excited to see more of his and Janine's heartfelt yet comedic interactions in the school.
However, with the Disney Dreamers Academy program, 100 high schoolers have earned the chance to interact with Williams and dive into a career-focused experience. Walt Disney has officially shared this news on its website, which reads:
"[Tyler James Williams] will be the program’s “DREAMbassador,’’ meaning he will spend significant time during the March 26-30 event interacting with the 100 Disney Dreamers..."
Williams isn't the only renowned figure in this program as Tamela Mann, Adam Blackstone, Rickey Smiley, Infinity Song, and a few more will also attend the same.
As shared on Walt Disney World, this program began in 2008 and continues to offer students life-changing experiences. Not only this, but they also get to enjoy a fully funded trip to Walt Disney World.
