Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary thinks that students should know about credit cards from day one of high school

It is absolutely alarming for the Shark Tank judge, Kevin O'Leary, how schools in the US are doing without imparting financial literacy to high school children. He considered the concept of "Debt, credit cards, and budgeting" of high importance and the many skills that should be started during high school.

However, he was happy with current affairs of financial literacy in states like Florida, California, and Texas where there is a curriculum that incorporates financial literacy for school children. He also added that New York is looking forward to adding it. He mentioned:

"So Florida, where I'm living, we've got that in the curriculum now. They're talking about it here in New York, Texas, and California. That's about 60% of the educational market. The 110,000 school buildings in America. We should be talking about credit card debt on day one."
