“25 years’ worth” – Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma Saint John discusses losing her house to the Palisades wildfire

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma Saint John is one of the celebrities who lost their homes during the Palisades wildfire in Los Angeles County, California on January 7, 2025. Paris Hilton and Anthony Hopkins are some of the other celebrities who witnessed the wrath of nature destroy their homes.

Bozoma Saint John joined Tamron Hall on her show and opened up about losing her house in Malibu to the Palisades wildfire. She found out about the incident through the internet, which made it even worse. Bozoma explained that her fire alarms went off but she did not suspect anything serious due to the "unfortunate nature of Malibu not being unused to fire".

Bozoma is "still processing" that fact that her years of hard work and emotional value got destroyed in one day, and and that she discovered the tragedy via the internet. Tamron Hall showed Bozoma a clip of her house before the fire, which she made with "blood, sweat, and tears." Bozoma remarked after addressing that it was not just a material possession but several years of hard work.

"What you are looking at is 25 years' worth of work to get the house. And to lose it like that... I am still processing."

Will Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma Saint John rebuild her Malibu house all over gain?

After losing her Malibu beach home to Palisades Wildfire, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma Saint John is in a dilemma about rebuilding the place. She has gone through immense trauma just like thousands of people who suffered the loss.

Despite having a home in Los Angeles, her Malibu Beach home is closer to Bozoma's heart because she "fought for every single inch of that property."

However, when asked about her plans on rebuilding the house during an interview with Los Angeles Times, Bozoma revealed that she will not be guided by fear of something bad happening again, and follow her gut feeling instead. She called her a "fighter" but also hoped she'd not going through this again.

Nevertheless, Bozoma Saint John revealed that she would "rebuild" the house, saying:

"I don’t want to make decisions based on my fear of something tragic happening And so my instinctual feeling is that I’ll rebuild."
