Love is Blind season 8 couple Sara and Ben formed a strong emotional bond during their time in the pods. They talked about their childhood, individual stances on societal issues as well as faith. Despite having different perspectives regarding religion, the two worked things out between them and moved forward with their engagement.

Outside the pods, the couple planned their future while discussing building a family together. In the newly released episode 12, Sara opened up about her outlook on faith after she went to Ben's church realizing that her beliefs don't align with him. Ben on the other hand reassures her that them both don't need to agree on everything. Sara explained her point of view regarding this matter, she said:

"Until meeting you, I never considered going to church. It's something I never really envisioned myself or you know, I don't want to say I've never envisioned my significant other to support cause I know everyone is different."

Love is Blind season 8 episode 12 titled Brides' Last Ride was released exclusively on Netflix on February 28, 2025. The episode synopsis reads as the following:

"The couples go on their last dates before the big day. A discussion about faith leaves one person worrying: Is love blind if your values aren't aligned?"

Love is Blind cast member Sara talks about having different values from Ben

On Love is Blind season 8 episode 12, Sara shared how her and Ben's different values were to impact them in the future. As viewers already know, Ben feels a strong connection and sense of community with the church meanwhile Sara is not that religious. Sara explained that she was not against Ben going to the church but couldn't say the same for herself. For the Love is Blind cast member, it was clear what the church's stance regarding her values was, Sara explained:

"I'm more progressive and that's like hard for me to stand by. I wouldn't want a church to create conflict between me and you, or me and you and our kids, or me and you and our family. I don't want that to cause a division. It overall should be a very positive influence."

Sara continued stating that her and Ben's different views towards religion shouldn't cause a divide but rather have a "positive influence" on their lives. The Love is Blind star said that she would attend service during holidays, Sara continued:

"Obviously, listening to their service gave me a good outlook on what their stance is. And I would hate to say 'I'll never go again' that's probably not true. I probably would go again for a holiday or like something with your family."

Upon hearing this Ben clarified that if religion was something where he felt fulfillment, it doesn't have to be the exact thing for Sara too. Ben stated he was open to exploring what would make them feel the same way in the future. He further mentioned his stance on their differing opinions and values, stating he was okay with Sara not feeling the same way about going to Church as he does.

The upcoming Love is Blind season 8 episode 13 will exclusively air on Netflix on March 7. All previous episodes from this season are available to stream on Netflix.
