Survivor 47 is nearing its culmination as only six contestants are left in the game after the latest elimination of Carolina in episode 12 of the show. However, despite the tough competition and high stakes, one contestant that caught the attention of the fans this week was Rachel, who won the immunity challenge for the second consecutive time.
Rachel's performance in the game made the fans bet on her, and some of them even went as far as to claim that she could be the possible winner of the season. Rachel is right now having the best of both worlds, as she has the advantage of "Block-a-vote" and also a hidden immunity idol, about which the rest of the castaways are unaware.
Her performance in the last two immunity challenges granted her a safety net so far from the outcomes of the Tribal Council. However, Sam and Genevieve are eyeing to get her out of the game. Survivor 47 fans took X and appreciated Rachel, who had pulled a strategic game so far. One fan took to X and wrote:
" Rachel’s ability to go from barely escaping her fate to scraping the barrel to being well insulated in a majority alliance (w 2 advantages mind you) seriously needs to be studied. We are witnessing a legendary game player in real time #Survivor47 "

Rachel spoils the plan "Operation: Italy" as she wins the immunity in episode 12 of Survivor 47
In episode 12 of Survivor 47, Sam, Genevieve, and Andy planned a blindside scheme to get Rachel out of the game. However, she spoiled their plan as she won the Immunity Challenge and secured her spot in the game for now. During their retreat at Survivor Sanctuary, Andy told Sam and Genevieve about Rachel's "Block-a-vote" advantage, and they devised a ploy called "Operation: Italy".
Operation: Italy was meant to take Rachel out by making the underdog alliance split their votes, so that their majority could not take out one of Sam, Genevieve, and Andy, and they would vote Rachel out by gaining the majority. For this plan, they faked Sam's expired idol into an immunity idol. Genevieve showed the fake idol to Teeny to convince her, who seemed pretty hooked on the fakery.
However, as Rachel won the immunity, the target shifted to Teeny and Caroline, and Operation: Italy worked out as Sam, Andy, and Genevieve got Caroline out by casting the majority vote. Sue was heartbroken while Rachel was made that they got blindsided.
