"Needs an intervention" - 1000-Lb Sisters fans criticise Amy for not taking her 'pending charges seriously'

1000-Lb Sisters dropped a new episode recently, and it saw Amy getting arrested. This was reported in the media in 2024, and the latest story on the show covers the news and the scenes of what happened.

Turns out Amy was out and about the zoo in Alamo, Tennessee, feeding the animals and having fun with the kids. However, things turned south when a camel bit her. She screamed for help and eventually called an ambulance.

The cops also arrived at the scene and, later, after she was done getting stitches, arrested her. It was revealed that after searching the car, the cops found drugs (marijuana).

Concerned 1000-Lb Sisters fans took to X to express their opinions about Amy getting arrested and claimed that she needs to start taking care of her life better. They also talked about how she is trying to move her kids into Brian's home at a point where she does not know him well. One fan, requesting an intervention, wrote,

"Next week, Amy needs an intervention, because she isn't taking her pending charges seriously and Tammy is trying to get involved in the corn festival. Until next week..."

"Amy went from having a great day at the ZOO with her kids & her boyfriend to being in Jail. See, this is why you gotta be careful who you date. Yall think it was Amy's drugs or Brians? Or both of theirs?" read another tweet.

"What im confused by is that Amy was at a drive-through zoo & a camel bit a chunk of her arm off & she somehow ended up in jail? I have so many questions," commented a fan.

Amy, the 1000-Lb Sisters star, describes exactly what happened with her during the arrest. She was seen spending a nice time out with her kids and Brian at a drive-in zoo where people can feed the animals from their cars.

However, the fiasco started when a camel bit Amy and sank its teeth into her arm. She immediately called for an ambulance to help stitch up her wound.

Explaining in a confessional, she said that whenever an ambulance is called, cops also arrive at the same time, and thus, she did not think much of it. However, when she was in medical care and her wound was stitched up, the police started reading her rights and arrested her.

As she started calling out for Brian, the police informed her that he was arrested as well. It was because the cops found drugs in their car, especially when there were kids present inside it.

This arrest on 1000-Lb Sisters was reported by media outlets in September 2024. Later in December that year, Amy had pleaded guilty to the charges of drug possession and child endangerment.
