Love is Blind: Germany's reunion aired on Netflix on January 19, 2025. The reunion episode featured participants from the show and singles from the pods. Fans witnessed Sally and Medina during the show's reunion and how they didn't go through the wedding ceremony.

However, during the reunion episode, the couple mentioned that despite deciding to stay together and pursue their connection after the experiment, the duo parted ways. Referring to how Sally and Medina returned to the show after potentially ending their connection, fans reacted to their return.

Some Love is Blind: Germany fans took to social media platform X and shared how producers brought back Sally and Medina to "fill screen time."

A fan wrote on X:

"Let's be real — Sally & Medina were brought back bc other couples left & they needed to fill screen time. I don't feel any real emotional depth in their connection, aside from their shared religious views. Their vows don't match what we actually saw unfold. #LoveIsBlindGermany."

Another Love is Blind: Germany fan mentioned about the couple's return to the show:

"What an stupid clown sally is... what was the reason to return to the tv show.... #loveisblindgermany."

A netizen commented about Sally saying "no" to Medina, three times:

"Sally said no to this guy 3 times. Ah, we can't do all things oh. #LoveIsBlindGermany."

Another user reacted to Sally refusing to be with Medina:

"Sally saying no again is so funny #loveisblindgermany."

A netizen reacted to Sally and Medina making it to the "altar":

"Dunno why Sally and Medina even made it to the altar #loveisblindgermany."

A person wrote about how Sally and Medina's connection felt like "situationship island:"

"Sally und Medina… it's giving situationship island #LoveIsBlindGermany."

Another fan mentioned on X:

"Something tells me Medina doesn't have his life together (in addition to being a serious mamas boy) and Sally wants nothing to do with that & that's y she didn't move forward-also their relationship seemed forced #loveisblindgermany."

A fan commented about the couple:

"There should be a rule if the couple is already boring and we don't care don't add them three episodes in and expect us to bond with them.... (Sally and Medina) #loveisblindgermany #loveisblindreunion."

A user mentioned Sally's decision at the altar and commented:

"Not surprised one bit about Sally's decision. Didn't she leave shortly after seeing him for the first time? Why return when she felt she deserved better? I'm satisfied that at least one of them said no to them marrying. #loveisblindgermany."

A netizen wrote on the social media platform:

"I guess they also know that love is not blind and do not expect these people to actually get married else they'd invest in better styling for them. Camera man please stop zooming into Sally's face, the make up is hideous and she's such a pretty girl. #loveisblindgermany."

A person reacted to Sally and Medina:

"Wasn't expecting anything less from Sally and Medina. #loveisblindgermany."

Love is Blind: Germany - Sally and Medina left the social experiment and rejoined later with the rest of the engaged couples

Love is Blind: Germany couple Sally and Medina got engaged during the show's third episode. Soon after that, they met face-to-face during their reveal. However, after Medina's smile turned into "laughter" at their first meeting, Sally didn't feel comfortable. She decided to end their connection and left the experiment.

"That was really awkward," shared Medina.

Later, during the Love is Blind: Germany's sixth episode, Sally and Medina meet each other in a cafe and discuss their first meeting. She mentioned that there might have been a "misunderstanding" and a "miscommunication."

She shared with Medina:

"In the pods you were quite loud. And rarely lost of words. So I couldn't make sense of it. And then the way you kept laughing the whole time. So I wondered, okay...Not if you wer laughing at me, but..."

However, Love is Blind: Germany star Medina responded that everyone who knew him saw that "situation" would have seen that he was "really nervous" and also "crazy happy."

Further on, the couple mutually agreed to resume their journey on the show beside the rest of the engaged couples. They also moved into a shared living space, just like the rest of the couples, and continued their journey on Love is Blind: Journey.

Referring to that, fans shared their views on Sally and Medina resuming their journey and still didn't get married during the show's finale.

To explore Sally and Medina's entire journey on the social experiment, fans can stream Love is Blind: Germany Season 1 on Netflix.
