NCIS: Sydney Season 2 showcases a new intriguing case in every episode. The CBS series started as a spin-off of NCIS but has been able to carve its own niche with its riveting storyline and amazing performances.
The show brings together two agencies from America and Australia as the Naval Criminal Investigative Service teams up with the Australian Federal Police to investigate crimes involving US military personnel.
While the show usually follows a weekly release schedule, it has gone on a hiatus after the release of Season 2 Episode 6. Audiences will now have to wait for three weeks as NCIS: Sydney Season 2 Episode 7 comes out on April 4, 2025.
NCIS: Sydney Season 2 Episode 7: Release date and time
NCIS: Sydney Season 2 Episode 7 will be aired on CBS on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 8 PM ET/PT. The reason behind the show going on a break is that CBS will be airing the NCAA Tournament for the next three weeks.
Once the episode premieres on television, it will also be available to stream on Paramount+. While Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers can watch it live and on demand, Paramount+ Essential subscribers would be able to watch it a day later on Saturday.
In Australia, the show airs on Network 10 a few months after its US release. The release date of the upcoming episode in Australia has not yet been revealed, as the second season has not premiered in the country yet.
What to expect from NCIS: Sydney Season 2 Episode 7?
CBS has not yet unveiled a promo for the next episode but has released a logline that teases that the team would be heading into an unfamiliar world. When a US Navy chorister dies under mysterious circumstances, the officers are sent to investigate the case.
They find themselves amid the glitter and glamor of the music business and uncover how dangerous it can become. The episode is titled Breathless, and its logline reads:
“The suspicious death of a U.S. Navy chorister draws NCIS: Sydney into the world of obsessive fans, pop stars, and earworms, as they learn how deadly the music business can be.”
What happened in the previous episode of NCIS: Sydney Season 2?
In NCIS: Sydney Season 2 Episode 6, titled Hell Week, the team investigated the suspicious death of Lieutenant Pete Levinson at an Australian wellness retreat run by former Navy SEAL Finn McKay. At first, it looked like a suicide, but evidence soon showed that Pete had been strangled before he was hung.
The team then looked into his past to figure out why he was killed. They found out that Pete and Finn had served together in the Navy, but Finn left the SEALs after a training accident led to a recruit’s death, while Pete got involved in a secret investigation.
Pete discovered that Victor Austin, a recruit who died, had been given steroids. He had even altered Austin’s autopsy to protect his friends, only to later learn they were running a drug operation.
When Pete confronted them, his friends killed him. Finn’s pregnant wife saved key evidence, which led NCIS to uncover the truth. During the investigation, Evie Cooper and DeShawn Jackson were briefly taken hostage, but they eventually escaped, and Finn helped bring the killers to justice.
