The first two episodes of Mythic Quest Season 4 arrived on Apple TV+ on January 29, 2025, after a long wait of over two years. The workplace comedy is famous for its eccentric characters who work at a video game studio and create the titular game.

The fourth season brings chaos to the office as Ian and Poppy work on their failed gaming venture Playpen and take it to the MQ. Meanwhile, the show continues to make real-world game references, which keep the viewers hooked.

Since Apple TV+ does not drop the entire season at once, audiences will have to wait for new episodes of the show every week. Here is all you need to know about the Mythic Quest Season 4 release schedule.

The studio team reunites in the new season. Ian and Poppy are now working together as partners on their project, Playpen. They bring it to MQ to make new content for the game. While they are trying to stay professional, things get complicated when Ian learns that Poppy has a new boyfriend.

Meanwhile, David continues to crib about everything, and Dana, the creator of Playpen, feels she is not being paid enough for her work. She operates a mini-studio at MQ with her team including Brad and his assistant Jo.

As the team faces new challenges in the gaming world, they need to deal with changing relationships and clashing egos to succeed at their jobs while trying to find a work-life balance. The official synopsis of the season reads:

“Back under the same florescent office lights, the reunited team at Mythic Quest confronts new challenges amongst a changing video game landscape as stars rise, egos clash, relationships bloom and everyone tries to have a little more “work work” life balance.”
