Mythic Quest Season 4 dropped on January 29, 2025, after a two-year hiatus. The Apple TV+ series is based on a fictional video game studio that develops Mythic Quest, a popular MMORPG and the team's constant struggle to top the charts.

Created by Megan Ganz, Charlie Day, and Rob McElhenney, the American comedy series debuted on February 7, 2020. The workplace comedy was thus renewed for a second, third, and fourth season.

In Mythic Quest Season 4, the team is shown navigating a new era in the gaming world, balancing the professional and personal life. The upcoming Mythic Quest Season 4, Episode 9, titled Telephone, is all set to air on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at midnight ET/ 9 PM PT on Apple TV+.

Mythic Quest Season 4 Episode 8 Rebrand is a standalone episode that deals with Iam Grimm's son Pootie, the popular game streamer, influencer boxing to earn quick money for a rebrand. However, the young guy is soon humbled and learns that quick money always comes with troubles.

In the 22-minute episode, the plotline shifts from the video game studio to Pootie Shoe, Iam's son's. Pootie is introduced as a popular streamer who wants to do something big for his 17th birthday. Iam and Pootie does not share a good relation as Pootie rudely answers to his father's birthday wishes.

In a desperate move, Pootie contacts his Head Agent Spencer to rebrand his image, drop the shoes deal and move away from a kid friendly persona. However, Spencer asks him to back off as he would need $10 million to break his contract.

Pootie grows too restless and instead uses AI to find ways to gather $10 million. He learns that by influencer boxing, he could earn quick money. Even though Iam does not directly help his son by giving him the money, he appoints UFC legend Donald Cerrone as Pootie's trainer. However, the opponent brutally knocks down Pootie in the match. He makes the quick $10 million in the match but learns an important lesson, too. With the advice from his mother and Spencer, Pootie finally decides to slow down, focus on enjoying his teens and relaunch his career.


What to expect from Mythic Quest Season 4 Episode 9?

Mythic Quest Season 4, Episode 9, 'Telephone,' might unravel and provide a conclusion to the plotlines, as the season finale is just a few days away. In the next episode we might find Ian and Poppy grapple with their strained partnership. In the previous episode, Poppy revealed that she would be leaving for the Netherlands with Storm and her baby. Poppy wants to move away from her workaholic image while Ian seems quite concerned about Poppy's unborn child.

Thus, in the upcoming episode, Ian might face the consequences of his inability to adapt to Poppy's new life. Meanwhile, Dana's frustration with her game could force her to seek creative independence. On the other hand, Rachel, still recovering from the PR tragedy, might take on an important role in shaping the studio's future.
