"My fairy tale has ended": Dubai Bling star Mahira announces her divorce to the group

The sixth episode of Dubai Bling Season 3 featured Mahira's event through which she announced her divorce. However, cast members were not aware of it. It was because Mahira kept it a secret and told everyone only the theme of the event: Butterflies.

After the group arrived at the venue, Dubai Bling star Mahira shared the purpose of the event:

"So, after many, many memories, after many, many chapters, and after many attempts to salvage it...I am sad to announce...I don't know why this is so hard...But my fairy tale has ended, and I'm officially divorced. So, yeah. I know...um..."

She continued:

"Wow! This is harder than I thought. I'm hurting, but I'm healing at the same time. Don't ask me how. It's a roller coaster of emotions. But I know I'm ready to start this new chapter. I'm ready to claim what I deserve and what I'm really worth."

Dubai Bling Season 3 Episode 6: Mahira's event to announce her divorce with the group

The sixth episode of Dubai Bling Season 3 featured Mahira's event. It was to announce her divorce from the group, however, they were unaware of such a thing. Only Model Roz knew the purpose, as she was close friends with Mahira.

Regarding the event, the Dubai Bling star told the cameras:

"Today, it's my day. The day of the event, I will announce my divorce for the first time. To make a decision to get divorced, it took me four years. When the divorce became final, I took the decision that it's time to announce properly. I decided to make the split public. So I invited the whole group to announce to everyone once and for all."

Cast members who attended Mahira's event were Jwana, Danya and her husband, DJ Bliss, Salem, Mona and her husband Hassan, Model Roz, LJ, Farhana, Zeina and her husband Hanna, and Ebraheem.

DJ Bliss shared how he felt meeting the group for the first time after returning from his spiritual retreat:

"We're going to Mahira's event, and I've just come back from a retreat. And I'm in the best place possible mentally. So, I am not looking forward to seeing everyone. I can tell you that."

After everyone arrived, the group enjoyed fine dining. Soon, Dubai Bling star Mahira shared with everyone:

"So, thank you all for coming. I know you're all wondering why I gathered you. As you all know, we grew up as kids mesmerized by fairy tales and living happily ever after. However, not all fairy tales end with a happily ever after. I know there's been a lot of rumors because it's been a while since my husband was seen with me."

Everyone applauded Mahira for sharing her truth and appreciated her.

"I was shocked with myself, really. I couldn't say it. Even now, I still can't say it. That I...I'm divorced. Oh my God. I think that Mahira deserves a new life. I think she deserves a pat on the shoulder. She's been through a lot. She endured a lot and was patient, and I hope her efforts won't go to waste," confessed Mahira.

Jwana shared with everyone how as hard as we try "not to lose" families, she waited for five or six years, and she (Mahira) waited for a few years because it is a woman who supports and ensures. But sometimes, a woman has to choose to divorce despite her wishes. Because she has "no other option."

Mahira said that it was "not an easy decision." She added that she "stayed and tried" to make her marriage work because of her child:

"And I took the decision to leave because of my child."

She confessed about how she "crushed" her dignity for her family "going" and that she tried till "the last second." Cast members, including Ebraheem, Salem, Model Roz, and more, appreciated Mahira and told her that she would be fine.
