The world of dating shows is about to get a fresh perspective with Muslim Matchmaker, a reality dating series premiering this Valentine’s week on Hulu. Produced by ABC News Studios in collaboration with Smriti Mundhra’s Meralta Films, this show promises to explore love and relationships within the Muslim community in a way that respects cultural and religious values.

A New Take on Modern Love

Unlike many dating shows that emphasize quick connections and modern dating practices, Muslim Matchmaker takes a more thoughtful approach. It focuses on helping Muslim singles navigate the complexities of finding love while staying true to their faith and traditions.

Hoda and Yasmin don’t just focus on compatibility; they work closely with singles to ensure their values and long-term goals align, providing guidance that extends beyond romance and touches on family and faith.

The “Rules of Three”

One of the standout features of Muslim Matchmaker is its unique matchmaking process, known as the “Rules of Three.” This approach involves:

Three Dates – A structured way to help individuals get to know each other.

Three Months – A recommended period to reflect and assess compatibility.

Three Hundred Questions – Deep conversations to explore shared values, goals, and personalities.

This method sets the show apart, offering a more meaningful alternative to the instant gratification often seen in modern dating.
