Taylor Ann Green just dropped a bombshell about her return to Southern Charm for Season 10. During a candid interview on Nick Viall's "Viall Files" podcast on March 4, the reality star confessed that her comeback wasn't about screentime or stirring up drama, but rather about making amends with former friend Olivia Flowers.

"I just do want to have that time and moment with Olivia, which I have, it's obviously not on camera, but that's what the viewer wants. And I don't think that I'll be getting that moment. And that's the only reason that I came back was to, like, end on a good note and be able to move past everything," Green revealed.

The admission comes after a turbulent Season 9 of Southern Charm, where Green's friendship with Flowers imploded following Green's kiss with Flowers' ex, Austen Kroll. This season has seen Green navigate new relationships and old wounds on the hit Bravo series that chronicles the lives of Charleston's elite social circle, their romances, friendships, and the dramatic fallout when those worlds collide.

What happened between Taylor Ann and Olivia in this season of Southern Charm?

When Taylor kissed Olivia's ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll in Season 9, the relationship between Taylor and Olivia became a major plot point. Their bond was destroyed by this treachery, leading spectators to question whether reconciliation was conceivable.

Olivia wasn't asked back, but Taylor was back for Season 10 with the intention of patching things up on camera. Speaking on the "Scheananagins With Scheana Shay" podcast in July 2024, Flowers acknowledged that she was "super bummed" that she had not received an invitation to return for the upcoming season.

Despite her absence from the show, Green confirmed that communication between them had resumed. During a February 2025 appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," Green shared:

"We actually have reconnected. She actually reached out to me when we started filming so it was very good to hear from her. She was checking in on me. I'm glad we were able to [reconnect]. I wish you guys could see it."

What appeared to be a heartfelt olive branch from Olivia turns out to have been orchestrated behind the scenes. In a revealing interview with Decider, Flowers disclosed that a producer prompted her to reach out to Green.

"I had one of the producers reach out to me and just were kind of like telling me like, 'Hey, I know you and Taylor aren't in the best place, but she's kind of going through it. I think it would mean a lot if you reach out and just let her know you're thinking about her and you're there, And so, I just sent that, texted her, and reconnected and that was that."

This revelation adds a layer of complexity to their reconciliation on Southern Charm, suggesting that while the reconnection was genuine, its catalyst was not entirely organic.

As Taylor navigates her complicated history with former cast members, she's also dealing with scrutiny over her current relationship with Gaston Rojas. Their romance has become fodder for gossip among the cast, particularly from newcomer Salley Carson, who previously dated Rojas.

The situation has created additional tension for Green, who found herself defending her relationship against rumors about Rojas' past. This storyline has become a significant part of her Season 10 journey, further complicating her desire for a drama-free return to the show.

What does Taylor Ann’s future in Bravo look like?

When asked about her future on "Southern Charm" during her interview with Viall, Green hinted that she might be ready to move on—but not necessarily from Bravo entirely.

"'Southern Hospitality,' that would make more sense because I do actually hang out with those people," Green said, referencing the "Southern Charm" spinoff.

Adding:

"Those are people I've known for a very long time even before they started 'Southern Hospitality.' I knew TJ and Brad and Emmy and Will and all of them, so it would make more sense."

This suggestion indicates that while Green may be ready to close the chapter on Southern Charm, she's not entirely opposed to continuing her reality TV journey in a different setting—one where her authentic friendships might make for more genuine storylines.

As Southern Charm Season 10 continues to unfold, viewers will watch Taylor navigate her complicated relationships both on and off camera. Her admission about returning primarily to reconcile with Olivia frames her current season in a new light and raises questions about whether she'll return for future seasons.

With her relationship with Gaston Rojas under the microscope and her friendship with Olivia still in a delicate state, Taylor's journey on Southern Charm seems far from over—even if her days on the show might be numbered.

Whether Taylor decides to stay with Southern Charm, make the leap to Southern Hospitality, or leave reality TV altogether, her candid revelation about her motivations for returning shows a level of self-awareness that might surprise viewers who have watched her evolution since her first appearance as Shep Rose's girlfriend in earlier seasons.

For now, Charleston's social scene continues to provide plenty of drama, with Taylor at the center of more than she bargained for when she decided to return to "end on a good note."
