The Voice Season 26 premiered its first blind auditions episode on NBC on September 23, 2024, at 8 pm ET. With this new season, the show has welcomed two new coaches to the panel. Snoop Dogg and Michael Buble have joined the show and will bring a wealth of diverse expertise to this popular platform. Reba McEntire has returned for the third time along with Gwen Stefani who took a break from the show last year after being on for eight seasons.
Carson Daly, who has been hosting the show since 2011, will be back as well. Dalby is also one of the show's executive producers. The Voice started in 2011 as a singing reality TV competition, which unearthed budding artists in the field of music. The show has witnessed a successful streak of 25 seasons, and fans are ever so eager for Season 26, the official synopsis for which reads as follows:

This superstar, genre-defying coach panel will guide the country’s best undiscovered artists from the thrilling Blind Auditions all the way through the spectacular Live Performances… and in the end, one unforgettable new singer will be crowned The Voice!"
Meet Carson Daly, the host and the producer of The Voice
Season 26 will witness Carson Daly captivating the audience once again. Daly was born on June 22, 1973, in California, and has been no stranger to television work since a young age. He has been a TV presenter, Radio host, and reality show host.
Daly started his career as a Video Jockey for MTV’s Total Request Live. He has done quite a few shows with NBC as well. In an interview with Awards Radar on June 5, 2024, Carson discussed the longevity of The Voice and shared his experience:
"I think that’s the crazy part is that it’s staying power that we’ve been able to keep an audience interested, and tweak the show and let the format evolve by adding steals and those little features that kind of make it exciting again. Every time it’s on, it feels fresh."
Meet the coaches of The Voice
Reba McEntire
The American country singer and actress has been one of the prominent faces of The Voice. She has been part of the show since its inception in 2011 when she joined as the adviser for Blake Shelton's team and has been a coach since season 24. McEntire will return for Season 26 and is expected to bowl everyone over with her iconic charm.
She had a few words to say in the introduction video of the show:
"This is my third season of doing the show and I keep coming back because I love it, it's fun. The camaraderie between the coaches is exciting and then I just get to sit here and listen to the talent, it blew my mind. I do enjoy doing the show."
Gwen Stefani
Gwen Stefani has returned for the eighth time as a coach on the show, having missed season 25. Stefani had been an advisor in the show in Season 10 when she contributed to her husband Shelton's team. She won Season 19 as a coach, with Carter Rubin winning the title for her.
Stefani and her husband Blake Shelton, who has been a coach of The Voice met on the sets of the show and got married in 2021. Gwen has been a successful singer herself, having bagged three Grammys.
Michael Buble
Iconic singer Michael Buble is debuting as a coach on Season 26. He started his singing career when he was 16, and went on to release self-titled albums.
The new coach has bagged various accolades in his career, including Grammys, multi-platinum albums, more than 14 billion global streams, and many more. The Canadian is one of the biggest names when it comes to jazz and soul.
Snoop Dogg
The other new coach on Season 26 is the rapper, Snoop Dogg. He is a worldwide phenomenon and is one of the biggest influences in rap music. Snoop's introduction reads as follows:
"If wealth were measured in the chillness of your vibes, Snoop Dogg would be the richest dude alive. Few people have had a larger impact on the popular consciousness than one Snoop dee-oh-double-gee; he’s a rapper, actor, and the current owner of about 90% of the planet’s total supply of rizz."
