Daredevil: Born Again will make history on March 25, 2025. If you’re a Daredevil die-hard, this is the day to mark your calendar in red.

For the first time ever, Disney+ is breaking tradition by dropping two regular season episodes of Daredevil: Born Again back to back with Episodes 5 and 6.

Typically, Marvel Studios sticks to a weekly release schedule. It only makes exceptions for season premieres or finales. However, this time, they’re giving us a midseason twofer.

That can only mean one thing. Something big is about to go down.

Daredevil: Born Again - Things are getting darker

Episode 4 of Daredevil: Born Again was packed with emotions, more power struggles, and some seriously dark twists.

Matt Murdock is still fighting the good fight, but that might not last long, thanks to a brutal conversation with The Punisher. He is forced to face Foggy’s death, which was the one thing that he was avoiding.

Frank Castle is still haunted by his own past, but he does call Matt out on his guilt. He makes it clear that this isn’t just about justice; it’s personal.

Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk’s “reformed” act is beginning to crumble. We get to know a bit more about his wife’s affair with Adam. By the end of the episode, we see Adam's life in Fisk’s hands. Safe to say, that’s not a good place to be.

The final scene introduces us to Muse. He is the show’s nightmare-fuel villain. We see him hauling a body into his creepy hideout, where people are literally hanging from the ceiling. He's seen draining blood from a victim who is still alive.

So, things just got really dark with the latest episode. Hence, we can expect a lot more chaos in the upcoming ones. Maybe that's why the double drop of episodes? We will have to wait and watch.

Daredevil: Born Again - Why is Disney+ dropping two episodes at once?

As much as we'd love to know why, Marvel Studios isn’t exactly known for giving us straight answers ahead of time. Let’s do some detective work.

One of the strongest theories is that Matt Murdock is suiting up as Daredevil again.

Since Daredevil: Born Again kicked off, Matt has been staying away from his red suit. He is still reeling from the loss of his best friend, Foggy Nelson. However, we all know you can’t keep The Man Without Fear down for long.

If Episodes 5 and 6 are finally giving us a full-fledged Daredevil comeback, then yeah, we absolutely need two episodes for that!

Another reason could be - Wilson Fisk is about to go full Kingpin.

In Daredevil: Born Again Episode 4, we saw Fisk secretly holding Adam captive in a basement. It's clear he’s slowly shedding the "respectable mayor" act. Every time he attends those tedious meetings, he looks more exhausted and more frustrated.

Plus, he doesn’t understand the procedures. And frankly, he doesn’t care. The man is tired of playing politics. So, in Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 and 6, we might finally see him snap. If not in public, then at least behind closed doors.

And as for Adam, Fisk might decide it's time to deal with him once and for all or he might torture him even more. If any of that happens, it could shatter Vanessa’s heart and push their already shaky marriage to the brink.

Another possibility is that The Punisher is about to unleash hell.

Frank Castle has been MIA for years. But in Episode 4 of Daredevil: Born Again, we actually saw Matt Murdock meeting with him. When Matt told him he should be out on the streets helping people, Frank flat-out refused. He wanted no part of it.

But something tells us that won’t last long. Matt also warned him that corrupt cops were using his skull logo to justify brutal killings, but Frank didn’t take it too seriously at the time. He brushed them off as fanboys.

That said, we know Frank Castle, and he doesn’t let things slide forever. Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 and 6 may throw something major his way, something that pushes him over the edge. Could it be Muse?

Well, whatever it is, we might finally see him snap back into action. And when he does, it’s going to be glorious.

So, to sum it all up, there will be double the drama, double the danger, and double the episodes.
