After the success of three seasons of Mayor Of Kingstown, star Jeremy Renner has dropped a clue about Season 4’s release window on X. The fan-favorite crime thriller series available on Paramount+ is created by Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, who also stars in the show.

Mayor Of Kingstown follows the story of the McLusky family, who try to keep the peace and control crime in the company town Kingston, Michigan. Jeremy Renner plays the character of Michael McLusky, who became the mayor of Kingstown after his older brother, Kyle Chandler’s Mitchell, died.

The series debuted in November 2021, and the previous season ended in August 2024. Fans welcomed the news of season 4’s renewal in December 2024, and Jeremy Renner's recent update on X has left fans anticipating more than ever.

On January 27, 2025, the lead star, Jeremy Renner, shared an update on season 4 of Mayor Of Kingstown on the platform X.

The Hawkeye star captioned the post:

" We’re a couple weeks into This new season 4 @kingstown @paramountplus Can't wait to see what happens next!!!

As Jeremy Renner shared, production on season 4 has already begun. The previous season of Mayor Of Kingstown also began production in January and premiered in June. If the show follows tradition, season 4 might drop on Paramount Plus later this year.

The plot of season 4 is not known yet. However, after the intense ending of Mayor Of Kingstown Season 3, the show might focus more on the characters. While talking to The Hollywood Reporter, creator and star Hugh Dillon teased about season 4:

"It is exciting to be part of Mayor, and show up and deliver these characters. A big driving force is to see the satisfaction with Jeremy Renner. He’s gone out of his way, he made a giant come back and to see him be artistically satisfied. The scripts are great, the characters great. And that’s what we want to do. We don’t want to leave any stone unturned. This show is very much rock ‘n’ roll."
