The third season's finale is the most action-packed compared to the previous seasons. The main characters are in a desperate fight for survival, while others come to terms with their fate for different reasons.

1) Iris

The Mayor of Kingstown season 3 finale of the Paramount+ series centered on Mike McLusky's efforts to settle his scores. The episode featured a dramatic shootout that altered Kingstown's landscape forever. Iris, Mike's trusted ally, played a key role in his plan. He tasked her with keeping an eye on Konstantin, the Russian mob leader.

Mike and Iris had a strong connection throughout season 3, but their relationship came to a tragic end in the finale. She is found dead on a bus, having seemingly taken her own life. Iris is forced to leave Kingstown by the Mayor, Konstantin, and Milo. She struggles to cope with her new reality. Without Mike's support, Iris felt overwhelmed and desperate, leading her to make the tragic decision to end her life.

2) Milo Sunter

In Mayor of Kingstown season 2, Milo narrowly escapes death and vanishes into thin air, leaving Mike and Iris stunned as the boat he boarded blows up right in front of them. Instead of laying low, the Russian mobster takes his revenge, using Iris as a bargaining chip. He knows he's safe as long as he can hurt her, and Konstantin asks her to kill him to protect herself from the notorious mobster.

When Iris vanishes, Milo's life falls into Mike's hands. Instead of begging for mercy, Milo provokes Mike by bringing up Mariam and the young girls he has killed, trying to intimidate him. Mike listens for a bit, but when Milo starts disrespecting his mother, he loses his cool and takes Milo down. With that, the nightmare of Milo finally comes to an end.

3) Kareem Moore

Kareem's world falls apart in Mayor of Kingstown season 3 when his superiors force him to quit his job. Without his position and its perks, he loses hope for the future. He doesn't want to save himself by hurting Kevin, the prison guard who helped the escape, who is also a victim of Bunny's manipulation.

To spare his family the pain of his death, Kareem chooses a different way out. He provokes the angry Aryans, who take out their anger on him. By dying on the job, Kareem might have secured some benefits for his family's survival.

4) Konstantin Noskov

When Roman dies and Milo returns in Mayor of Kingstown season 3, Konstantin loses his motivation to keep fighting. He finds himself at the mercy of his enemy, betrayed by his own right-hand woman, Anna. Things get worse when Milo reveals that Iris has been spying on Konstantin for Mike.

Despite this, Konstantin wants Iris to start fresh somewhere else. Konstantin has been struggling, relying on drugs just to sleep. As things get tougher, he may have realized that death is a way out, especially after doing some questionable things. Konstantin permits Iris to kill him, so she can gain her freedom, which Milo will only grant if Konstantin dies.

The previous two seasons along with Mayor of Kingstown season 3 are available to stream currently on Prime Video.
