Matlock is getting more fascinating with each passing episode as Matty is reaching closer to the truth. The CBS legal drama, inspired by the 1980s classic series of the same name, follows Madeline "Matty" Matlock, a retired attorney who joins a law firm in the hopes of gathering evidence about the owner’s involvement in her daughter’s death.
In the previous episode, things did not look good for Matty as Sarah and Shae suspected something fishy and joined forces to take her down. Fortunately, the lead attorney braced through the challenge.

What to expect from Matlock Episode 12?
CBS has released a promo for the upcoming episode, This is That Moment. It shows Matty’s plans might have started to work as she gets closer to exposing Julian. His ongoing divorce with Olympia has turned messy, and if it gets even uglier, Olympia might ask for Julian’s financial records.
This could help Matty in finding financial proof that Julian was paid to promote Wellbrexa, even though the drug was dangerous. The drug was consumed by her daughter, which eventually caused her tragic death.
The preview also shows Matty pretending to be clumsy and spilling coffee on Julian. She then takes the opportunity to take out his blazer and remove the badge from his packet, through which she can access prohibited areas in the company. She finally has a shot at finding Julian’s confidential files.
What happened in Matlock Episode 11?
In the previous episode, A Traitor In Thine Own House, Matty realized that her blind trust in Olympia had been affecting her decisions, especially in the Wellbrexa case. To fix things, she focused on dealing with Shae Banfield, a sharp investigator who could detect lies easily.
Meanwhile, Olympia worked on impressing Senior by handling a case involving a tech entrepreneur, Ben. Ben was worried that his company’s ideas were being stolen and hence, turned to Olympia for help.
After investigating, Olympia discovered that Ben had actually been leaking his own company’s secrets to eliminate a competitor. Meanwhile, Sarah teamed up with Shae to bring Matty down, believing she had been wronged. Their investigation into Matty’s past led Shae to Georgia, where she unknowingly met Edwin.
Edwin falsely praised Matty, which convinced Shae to back off. He then warned Matty that Shae might have had good reason to investigate her. At the same time, Edwin found out something about Shae’s past, which could link her to Wellbrexa’s hidden documents.
