Fans have eagerly awaited updates on this new horror series since Marvel announced it in 2021. At D23, they got a glimpse of the progress, confirming it’s scheduled for an October 2025 release on Disney+. Unlike previous Marvel shows, Marvel Zombies is rated TV-MA, meaning it will feature mature themes and more intense action.

The show picks up after the What If...? zombies episode, imagining an Earth where the virus from the Quantum Realm has spread, transforming many Avengers into zombies. The show follows a group of survivors, each struggling to survive in a chaotic world ravaged by infected heroes.
