Married to Medicine Season 11 returned to the small screens after a short holiday respite. However, the cast was still grappling with the old issues when the last episode wrapped. Episode 6 opened with cameras being panned out at the dinner table, where Heavenly and Contessa were having an intense argument. Heavenly bringing the "your mamma" comment in the argument was a hard hit.
Nobody from the Married to Medicine cast could Support Heavenly in this behavior. Jackie, who had been having her back, felt "overstimulated" by all the chaos. She, along with Heavenly, sat in the cart to leave the dinner, but unfortunately, the cart did not move. On the other hand, Contessa vented her anger in front of Toya and Sweet Tea as they decided to back to their quarters.
The episode also featured a reconciliation moment between Quadd and Simone, whose tussle goes back to Season 10 Reunion. For those who are unversed, Simone commented on Quad's niece, which deeply hurt Quad. The Napa trip was brought up again, but as apologies were exchanged and hugs were shared, it felt like some of the Married to Medicine ladies could finally have a peaceful night.
The official synopsis of Married to Medicine Season 11, Episode 6 is as follows:
"After an explosive dinner, Contessa grapples with Heavenly's hurtful comments; Quad gets vulnerable with the group and finally mends things with Simone."
How do things unfold in Episode 6 of Married to Medicine Season 11?
The holiday hiatus of Married to Medicine Season 11 was served well when the series released the latest episode and unleaded tons of drama, some horn lockings, and Met Gala preparation. The fans could not have asked for a better episode, considering it balanced the ugly fight between Heavnly and Contessa with Quad and Simone's resolution.
In episode 6 of Married to Medicine, Contessa and Heavenly reignited their fight at the diner on their last day of the trip. Contessa was the one to organize the trip, but by the looks of it, she regretted it a lot. When Contessa left with Toya and Sweet Tea, she mentioned that Heavenly had this habit of extracting happiness from other people's pain and held no accountability for the things she said.
Contessa mentioned in the confessional:
"This is what friendship looks like, and I’m the one who’s a problem? Then no, this ain’t the group for me."
Meanwhile, the next morning, Contessa admitted that it was a mistake to organize a trip for the whole group, and they would be taking the load to Atlants as well. She organized the trip so that the group could rehash any conflict or misunderstanding. However, the plan clearly felt flat on Contessa's face and how.
The cameras did not do injustice to the men and gave them some screen time during the episode, too. Cecil took charge of planning an outing and riding ATVs. Damon and Gregory, who had a precious fallout over their wives's clash, were lectured on reconciling for a smoother relationship in the future.
The episode also had Jackie and Phaedra planning the grand annual Met Gala and had a huge list of Doctors who could be potential sponsors. Although Phaedra did leave 73 odd messages unread, she managed to "get through to her favorite doctors that could give some money."
Jackie looked peeved at her Co-Chair, Phaedra's unresponsiveness, and quipped "She better not call her if in case she lands up in jail."
Married to Medicine Season 11 airs new episodes on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
