The much-anticipated Season 2 of Love is Blind: Sweden hit the small screen on March 13, and 7 episodes have already made their way to Netflix. After episodes 5-8 dropped on the OTT, the couples continued to test their bonds from the pods into the real world after their engagements. One couple who has been on the hit list of the viewers was Milly and Ola. As the former opened up about how he feels about Milly's food and hair choices, tension between the two grew.
In an emotional moment, Ola reveals how he feels about Milly's lifestyle, especially her occasional smoking and drinking soda. Milly was clearly irritated by his comments, which appeared to contradict her moral principles. During her meeting with Bea, Ola's friend, she spoke before the cameras about how her fiancé's and his friend's comment about her lifestyle made her feel.
"I don't think we'll be able to come together in this. It makes me wanna laugh. And at the same time I'm like, "No, I don't think so." Because I think life is too short to limit yourself and say, "No, I'm not drinking wine or eating sweets. I'm absolutely not having chocolate spread on my toast in the morning." No, you have to live and live now."
Ola's friend Bea discussed Milly's lifestyle choices on Love is Blind: Sweden Season 2 Episode 6
In episode 6 of Love is Blind: Sweden, Milly visits Ola's apartment to meet his friend, Bea. As the three meet and sit down to discuss the duo and their relationship, things take a different turn.
During the conversation, when Ola opens up about the "deal-breakers" in their relationship, including Milly's smoking, and how he tries to be as honest with his partner as possible, Bea decides to put in her two cents to the conversation.
"That is often what hurts so damn much when we don't compromise in relationships. And really, that's when things can get super exciting when we are completely truthful."
Later, as the conversation moves inside the house, Bea continues about how she is quite similar to Ola.
"I would also turn to sugar and cigarettes. But you also need to know why you're doing that."
She further opens up about how she, herself, has been through a lot, and despite that, she has received love from her friend on Love is Blind: Sweden. She also emphasizes how she sees Ola's love for Milly and how she might be the right fit for him.
However, later in the episode, Ola decides to end the engagement with Milly, stating his concerns about how the two are very different and do not seem to end on common grounds.
