Shark Tank mentor Mark Cuban Tweeted about the "cost for unemployment benefits" for fired-fed employees on February 15, 2025. Reacting to the billionaire entrepreneur's Tweet, netizens shared their thoughts on the subject.

While some of them were about asking Shark Tank investor, what he would do for various issues, a few of them raised their voices regarding where such things, including particular types of "termination," were occurring, and more.

One of the netizens wrote on X:

"Viewing from a mathematical standpoint makes perfect sense to me, do you think some people add too much weight to the human factor or do you think most organizations use the proper balance?"

Another person reacted:

"thanks for this mark! i'm relatively safe, 15 years, but the multiple emails from upper leadership about the 1000+ employees fired by email last night was pretty rattling for everyone left."

An X user Tweeted:

"The mirror would look back at you and say "you're a Democrat."

A person questioned Shark Tank mentor about Donald Trump:

"I have a question for you Mark. In an alternate universe where Trump tapped YOU to lead DOGE, what would you be doing differently?"

One more person shared a comment:

"So basically Mark would do nothing but have meetings and consulting and finally no decision because mark is poll taker and wants to please everyone so of course no one is happy and we all over pay taxes on taxes on taxes! Thanks Mark."

After reading the Shark Tank mentor's second tweet, which mentioned that he would "look in the mirror" and ask himself about the systems, a netizen referred to that and stated:

"productivity is a spook, mark. you're not gonna find it staring back at you from a mirror."

A netizen mentioned how it was "refreshing" to see the focus on the internal processes, and commented:

"Great point about self-reflection and systems evaluation. It's refreshing to see a focus on analyzing internal processes rather than just blaming remote work. The real productivity question isn't about location - it's about having the right oversight and metrics in place."

An X user stated that they can deliver "better" results with "less oversight" while working from the office:

"Yes I had been doing work from home for years before Covid believing if I have to watch the people working I have the wrong people. work from home you are responsible for output. In the office it's inputs. I got better results with less oversight."

Later, the Shark Tank star shared another Tweet, stating his "analysis" of what he would do if he faced such issues, on February 15, 2025.

"I would look in the mirror and ask myself what happened to my systems that allowed theft and over payments to happen. Then I would ask myself how I was evaluating productivity for my workers, and where each employee was the most productive , home or office. And I would ask the same question about aggregate productivity for the company," part of his Tweet read.

The Shark Tank mentor talked about examining costs of travel and other expenses while employees were traveling to work at the office and comparing them to workers' work-from-home expenses. He also mentioned potentially increasing the wage if employees were spending more time "commuting."
