Murderbot is a new sci-fi comedy series for Apple TV+ based on Martha Wells' The Murderbot Diaries, and it follows Murderbot, a cyborg security guard with free will that secretly wishes to be left alone while doing its duties.

Alexander Skarsgård portrays Murderbot in the program. Other cast members include David Dastmalchian and Noma Dumezweni, and the unique series was developed by Chris and Paul Weitz. The first season will go out on May 16, 2025, with two episodes, followed by weekly installments. It will contain ten episodes, with the final one premiering on July 11, 2025.
