Netflix aired Love Village Season 2 Episode 9 on November 12, 2024. The platform recently released the second batch of episodes, which contains four of the latest episodes. The ninth episode featured Manhattan expressing his feelings to Tamifull.
Later in the episode, Captain has a private conversation with Nino, and they spend more time together in the kitchen. Seeing them together, Ayakan struggles since she also likes Captain. After declining Manhattan's proposal to leave the show, Tamifull struggles with her feelings for another resident.
Love Village Season 2 Episode 9 Recap: Explored
The ninth episode of Love Village Season 2, The Virgin Old Man, was recently released and featured Manhattan celebrating his birthday with his daughters Mika and Tamami over a video call. Tamifull borrowed Manhattan's overalls while painting the shed for Sato, the goat.
Soon, Manhattan, the oldest resident of Love Village Season 2, went to ring the bell as he was about to tackle a "challenge." As everyone gathered around to learn more about Manhattan's decision, Gitarin couldn't stop crying.
The male cast member then requested Tamifull to come forward, and they went to have a private chat. They talked about various things, including all the activities they did together. He also mentioned the comic strip that Tamifull had drawn, which included his character in the story, for which he shared:
"At first, I was a little confused. It seemed like you didn't like me. I thought it was funny, but then I realized why would you draw a comic strip about someone you don't like? That's when I started developing feelings, but I worried I might be rushing things. And I wondered if you had feelings for someone else."
She got emotional when Manhattan opened up and shared his feelings about Tamifull. He requested that the answer be shared by the next day, and soon, they returned to the Love Village.
At night, while Manhattan was anxious and couldn't sleep, the women in their separate residence area discussed how he had earlier shared, without revealing any names, that he had feelings for someone.
They talked about how he gathered the "courage" to open up and share his feelings for Tamifull. Seeing their fellow residents appreciating Manhattan, Tamifull got emotional and struggled to decide.
The next morning, when Manhattan was leaving, Tamifull was the first one up, and she did some kickboxing workout on the pole he had made for her.
"I've learned that you're not just funny but also sweet and smart, playful and cute, too. I'm glad I've discovered so many wonderful things about you," shared Tamifull.
She added that she had imagined that she would find someone in Love Village for whom she would get a chance to ring the bell. Since that hadn't yet happened, she felt she had some "unfinished" business. That was why she couldn't leave Love Village Season 2 with Manhattan. Manhattan then left the show while everyone shared emotional goodbyes.

After declining Manhattan's invitation to leave the show with him, Tamifull might still have feelings for Captain. On the other hand, Ayakan also has feelings for Captain that develop gradually over time.
What happened further in Love Village Season 2 Episode 9?
Nikorun's mom, Pachi Yumi, and Sen-ne, the dietary advisor, were in the dining room, where they discussed how men "tend to go for younger women." They referred to Manhattan, 59, who chose Tamifull, 45, 14 years younger than himself.
After a few days, Tamiful approached Captain to figure out his feelings. She also asked if he was in love, and he said he didn't know.
"Tamifull realizes that her feelings for Captain are fading away. On the other hand, Captain says he's not sure if he's in love, but the following day, he invites a woman for a chat," the narrator described.
Captain chatted with Nino, who discussed their previous relationships and their partners' ages. Later, in her private confession, Nino opened up about how her friends have nicknamed her "Old Man Virgin." She also talked at length with the Captain and shared various things and incidents with him.
Later in the Love Village Season 2 Episode 9, she was preparing "gyoza" for which Captain offered to help her in the kitchen. After everyone loved Nino's special gyoza, Ayakan, who also liked Captain, confessed how Nino had won Captain's "heart" through his "stomach" and laughed.
Another resident, Gitarin, came to the confession and shared how Nino's gyoza made him feel and that he was "falling in love."
