Tamifull, the manga artist, has been exploring her connection with former rescue pilot Captain. Interestingly, three participants seemed to be in a "love isosceles triangle": Chii, Akipon, and Gitarin.

After seeing Chii getting close to Akipon, Gitarin has been rethinking his feelings. Tamifull and Pachi Yumi asked him why he was quiet that morning.
"As soon as we all started, I chose one person based on my first impression, and I haven't wavered at all. But now I realize that she wasn't interested in me at all," shared Gitarin.
He then approached Chii and asked for a private conversation. He told her how he felt and didn't come off as a "people-pleaser."
"There's also a part of me that's jealous. Like, a lot. It's fine when I'm working. But then I looked over and you're flirting and being close with him. I was, like, "Bam!" Totally shocked."
After sharing how he felt, Chii confessed that some of what he said was "almost like a confession," as she confessed later. Although she appreciated that Gitarin shared how it felt, she was confused about what to do
"I really appreciate it but…I wanna spend my time, whether it's working and doing these jobs or just making an effort to be near him and talking to him, I would like to put all of my energy focused on Akipon from this point on," confessed Chii.
Love Village Season 2: Tension arises between Gitarin and Chii
The next day, Chii paired up with Akipon for the cooking duties. Later that day, when Gitarin asked again to have a private conversation with Chii, she said she would consider it. After asking for five minutes of her time, Gitarin waited for Chii. Until dinner was over, he didn't get any answer from her, and he kept on waiting.
He confessed that he realized from that day onwards that Chii had "no place in her heart" for Gitarin. Later that night, Gitarin could be seen drinking alone while everyone else was asleep.
When Gitarin went to bed around 2 a.m., he tried to talk with Chii. But since everyone was asleep, Chii asked him to "shush." He went to sleep, but Chii went to the kitchen and stayed up.
The next day, Gitarin paired with Chii for work. She was still angry about Gitarin's behavior the previous night. Seeing how Gitarin had been interested in having a private conversation, he finally had a chance to talk to Chii later that day.
"Saying something like that in the middle of the night really stressed me out and I couldn't sleep."
Gitarin mentioned how he had waited the entire day for her "five minutes." She told him it had been stressful since he asked her to "reject him."
"Even calling me cute right now is just unacceptable."
During their private chat, Chii talked about various things, which Gitarin listened to. After she told him everything she didn't like about him, Gitarin shared that even though she told him everything, his feelings wouldn't change.

Manhattan and Ayakan paired up for work on Love Village Season 2's fourth episode, and he asked Ayakan why she didn't eat a second serving during their last meal.
The fourth episode featured Ayakan's revelation that everyone has been asking her for a second serving during meals, which she has consistently refused.
Ayakan opened up about how she was in the fourth grade and weighed over 50 kilograms. She shared about how her crush body-shamed her while she was in school. Since then, she has been determined to lose weight, so she started leaving half her lunch box daily.
"I couldn't stand to tell my sweet mom that I was being teased for being fat," shared Ayakan.
Later, Manhattan saw her crying while they were doing work outside the house. He asked whether he did something, which she refused. She then opened up and said the reason for her tears was the meals. The duo continued their conversation about how she doesn't eat a "lot of food."
