Love Never Lies: South Africa, a reality TV show that has put many relationships at a lie detector test, has finally come to an end. Couples enter the show to test the loyalty of their partners while attaching them to a lie detector. The show began on November 29, 2024, with Minnie Dlamini as the host.
The season began with six couples: Munaka & Gontse, Kuda & Lynn, Naledi & Nikiwe, Clayton & Wilfred, Siya & Pretty, and Nancy & Bohlale, who wanted to ensure their relationship was not built on lies. Each of them has been put to the test quite a few times, and each lie detector round has turned many relationships upside down.
The finale of Love Never Lies: South Africa recently went live on Netflix, and as the couples reunite to find out the final truths and lies of their partner, fans are jumping up and down their seats, too.
Love Never Lies: South Africa couples final EyeDetect questions
As Love Never Lies: South Africa came to an end, each couple reunited in the final ceremony to their partner's EyeDetect question. Each true answer added 30,000 rands, and each lie deducted 10,000 rands from the prize pot.
Gontse & Munaka
The first couple to find out each other's final EyeDetect question.
Gontse's question:
"Have you committed any infidelities that Munaka does not know about?"
To Munaka's shock, he answered with a "Yes," which was the truth. Though Gontse tried to justify this by reminding her when she told Gontse to do whatever he wanted. Munaka countered with the fact that each time they got together, they discussed everything, but he clearly left out some details.
Munaka's question:
"Is Gontse the right man for you?"
She replies with a "Yes," but she is not sure where she stands now.
Kuda & Lynn
Lynn was asked the following question,
"Are you sure that you want to end your relationship with Kuda?"
Lynn replies with a No, but the lie detector of Love Never Lies: South Africa doesn't agree. She mentioned that she was still not sure about the decision.
"Have you outgrown Lynn?"
He agreed to the question, and everybody seemed to agree.
Clayton & Wilfred
On reuniting, the two got a little teary.
Wilfred's final question was,
"Are you willing to accept Clayton's flirtatious nature?"
Love Never Lies: South Africa star replied with a truth, which was "Yes," but Clayton assured Wilfred that he would have to be okay with it because it would change the way things are.
Clayton's question was:
"Are you ready to settle down with Wilfred?"
Clayton said, "Yes," and both couldn't keep their hands off each other.
Naledi & Nikiwe
Naledi was hit with the following EyeDetect question,
"Are you willing to let Nikiwe have other partners?"
Naledi replied with a "No," but the detector didn't agree.
Nikiwe was asked,
"Are you ready to commit to a polygamous future with Naledi?"
Nikiwe said, "No," and again, the lie detector read 'Lie.'
The two don't seem to be on the same page indeed.
Siya & Pretty
Siya was asked about Pretty's communication skills,
"Does Pretty need to be less aggressive in how she communicates with you?"
Siya said, "Yes," and nobody disagreed.
Pretty was asked,
"Are you ready to commit to a future with Siya?"
Siya said 'Yes' with a smile on her face.
Nancy & Bohlale
Bohlale was once again put to the test,
"Did you cheat on Nancy before the show?"
Nancy tried really hard to hold back her emotions when she heard "Yes."
It was Nancy's turn to answer,
"Are you willing to forgive Bohlale for having s*x with Mia?"
She replied with a "Yes". The light of hope is still there between the two.
