The fifth episode of Love Never Lies: South Africa aired on Netflix on November 29, 2024. The segment featured newly joined participants on dates with those living at Villa Umjolo. Bohlale was sad as he reflected on his past actions and how they might affect his relationship with his partner, Nancy.
Love Never Lies: South Africa's fifth episode also featured another Love Never Lies ceremony. Participants witnessed more shocking revelations which hurt their partners living in a different villa.
Love Never Lies: South Africa - What happened on the fifth episode?
The fifth episode of Love Never Lies: South Africa picked up where the previous episode left off. The host explained to Siya that he could learn about Pretty and how she was around newly joined singles. For that, he had to spend 5000 rand from the prize pot, which he agreed to.
After watching his partner, Pretty, opening up to the newly added contestant, Siya confessed:
"Pretty must just be aware of sometimes the way she says things to me. I feel as if she just overpowers me sometimes," shared Siya.
Next was Munaka, who saw her partner Gontse on another date. The next one was Bohlale, who, after seeing Nancy, shared:
"I'm not gonna say I'm happy for her. S***, there's a life without me, you know? I would've loved to be a part of that process with her."
He also opted for a "premium" package to know more about Nancy.
Next up was Love Never Lies: South Africa star Naledi. After watching their partner, Nikiwe, with a newly joined participant, they didn't want to learn more about events involving Nikiwe.
Clayton was next. He witnessed his partner, Wilfred, interacting with the newly joined contestant, Thabang. He wanted to know more, hence he opted for the "premium version."
Love Never Lies: South Africa star Lynn was the last to see the video clips containing her partner. She saw Kuda on a date with newly joined single Star, spending more time together. Lynn opted for the premium version to learn more about how he spent his time.
Later, in Love Never Lies: South Africa, participants reflected on their actions and how they hurt their partners.
"I wouldn't want Nancy to lose me because of one really stupid thing that I did," confessed Bohlale.
Gontse, on his date with Lihle, revealed that Munaka might not be his soul mate. Nancy was on her date with Santino, while Kuda enjoyed time with Star.
At night, Love Never Lies: South Africa star Munaka proposed an exercise where the participants would write two letters.
"So I thought it would be a great idea for us to write two letters. One to ourselves. Second letter to your partner, telling them how you feel like they've hurt you. The things you don't like about your relationship."
Later in the episode, Nancy shared her concerns about Bohlale's physical intimacy with another cast member.
Love Never Lies Ceremony for Villa Umgowo participants
The fifth episode featured another Love Never Lies ceremony for Villa Umgowo participants. Siya was the first to witness Pretty's honesty, adding 10,000 to the prize pot. He then learns that Pretty thinks of him as a "weak man," and he loses 10,000 from the prize pot.
Next was Lynn. Kuda was asked if he felt "mothered" by Lynn, and he said yes, and it was the truth.
"You wouldn't need a mother if you weren't acting like a little boy. I feel like to some extent, I became a crutch. But I also wouldn't have to if I felt I could trust you more. I don't know how to drop the mother act and then meet my husband in the house, so most of the time I'm just mothering all the way till s**," shared Lynn.
However, because it was Kuda's correct answer, it added 10,000 to the prize pot. In the next clip, Kuda shared how he had "moved on" from "long-term" relationships, which he thought would last forever.
The next question that Kuda faced was:
"Are you unreliable in your relationship in an attempt to maintain your freedom?"
He said yes, which turned out to be a "truth." Another correct answer by Kuda added 10,000 to the prize pot. The fifth episode ended with another clip featuring Kuda sharing a bed with fellow female participant Star. The segment ended before any more revelations from the participants were made.
