In the latest episode of Love Never Lies: Poland, viewers witnessed high drama as one contestant broke the cardinal rule of the show, leading to serious consequences.
Episode 5, aptly titled "Dramatic Exit," picked up right from the previous episode's cliffhanger, where Max breached the Villa of Temptation to speak with Eugene, desperately trying to save their relationship.
The Polish version of Love Never Lies tests couples' commitment by separating them into two villas—the Villa of Doubt and the Villa of Temptation—where they face attractive singles and regular lie detector tests about their feelings. With cash prizes on the line, the stakes are already high, but Max's rule-breaking took the tension to another level.
Meanwhile, remaining contestants got a sobering look at their partners' behavior with the newly introduced singles, forcing them to confront uncomfortable truths about their relationships.
Max and Eugene exit Love Never Lies: Poland
This episode of Love Never Lies began with host Maja Bohosiewicz entering the Villa of Temptation to inform Eugene about the serious breach of rules. With a stern tone, she explained the situation to Eugene.
"Max has broken one of the most important rules of 'Love Never Lies: Poland' by contacting you," Maja stated.
Elaborating:
"You weren't allowed to be in touch with each other until the finale. Since you two entered the show as a couple, you will also have to suffer the consequences of Max's actions and leave the show."
Later, Maja gathered the couple for a final conversation before their departure. The meeting quickly turned emotional as Eugene confronted Max about his behavior.
"We came on the show to make some changes," Eugene reminded Max with visible frustration.
"But you're still repeating the same patterns. It hurt me to see you in bed with another guy, wearing nothing but underwear."
Max defended himself, claiming they were "just hugging in bed" before turning the tables on Eugene.
"What have you been doing with Jacek?" he asked pointedly.
Eugene, not backing down, admitted, "I was single at the time" and revealed he had been s*xually involved with Jacek.
Despite the tension, when faced with the lie detector, both confirmed they still wanted to be together. With that truth verified, the couple departed Love Never Lies, giving their troubled relationship another chance outside the scrutiny of cameras.
What else happened in this episode of Love Never Lies: Poland?
After Max and Eugene's exit, the focus shifted to the remaining contestants. Host Maja gathered residents of the Villa of Doubt and delivered news that would shake things up even further—their partners had been assigned singles matching their "type."
"Would you like to see who the singles are?" Maja asked, receiving nervous nods from the contestants.
The show then aired video packages introducing each single. They explained why they believed they could turn the heads of the contestants they were assigned to, adding another layer of anxiety for those watching.
Michal was visibly shocked to discover his partner Paula had been paired with Dominik—her ex-boyfriend of eight years. In a moment of forced optimism, he tried to reassure himself.
Michal said, though his unease was apparent to viewers:
"It's better she's paired up with her ex than a horny single guy"
Meanwhile, in the Villa of Temptation, the remaining contestants spent quality time with their assigned singles, enjoying dates during the day and a party at night—all while cameras rolled.
The episode reached its emotional peak when Maja gathered the Villa of Doubt residents for what would prove to be a difficult viewing session. One by one, they watched footage of their partners interacting with the attractive singles.
Setting the stage for uncomfortable revelations, Maja announced:
"I'm going to show you how your partners in the Villa of Temptation are enjoying themselves with the s*xy singles"
Pawel was the first to watch his footage. Though concerned about Kasia's intimacy with Longin, what struck him more was his own emotional distance in their relationship. Pawel realized aloud, the footage serving as a mirror for his own shortcomings:
"I never show my true emotions to her"
By the episode's end, both Michal and Karolina had also viewed clips of their partners. The footage revealed uncomfortable truths—their relationships had more significant cracks than they had previously acknowledged.
As the episode concluded, the remaining couples faced a harsh reality: the true test of their relationships was just beginning, and the revelations from the Villa of Temptation threatened to change everything.
The Season 3 finale of Love Never Lies: Poland premieres on Netflix on March 5.
