Love is Blind: Sweden Season 2 Episode 9 Recap - The wedding day approaches as the couples make their final decision

Love is Blind: Sweden introduced viewers to single contestants searching for love. The couples who made it to the wedding altar included Karin and Niklas, Wictor and Nathalie, and Karolina and Jacob. It was revealed in the newly released episode from March 27, 2025, that all three couples got married at the altar after completing the social experiment by bonding in the pods sight unseen.

The three couples then spent their honeymoon at the retreat and returned to their everyday lives, where their relationship was tested the most.

Love is Blind: Sweden season 2 episode 9, titled The Weddings: Is Love Truly Blind? was released exicvely on Thursday, March 27, 202,5, on Netflix. The episode synopsis reads as follows:

"The couples weigh doubts and dreams as they walk down the aisle. Will they commit to their futures together or walk away alone?"

What happened on Love is Blind: Sweden season 2 episode 9?

The first couple to get married on Love is Blind: Sweden season 2, episode 9 was Karin and Niklas. At the wedding altar, Niklas shared that he wasn't anxious about his decision but rather calm and peaceful. He emotionally opened up about his feelings for Karin, stating he didn't expect to fall in love. Niklas continued:

"I wasn't prepared for this. Before I entered into this I had lost faith in love a little bit. But when I walked in and met you. You turned everything upside down for me. I fall in love with you over and over again."

Karin looked back on their journey, which started in the pods, and stated she could be vulnerable and a hundred percent herself around Niklas. They both said yes at the altar and were declared husband and wife.

The second couple to get married was Wictor and Nathalie. Wictor was concerned whether he would hesitate to say yes at the wedding altar. As viewers already know, Wictor had voiced his concerns about his similarities with Nathalie, as both of them had quiet personalities and were introverts. He was unsure whether they would get bored with each other in the future.

Despite the ups and downs along with the arising doubts in their relationship, the two agreed to marry each other. Wictor said:

"You really exceeded all of my expectations. Our journey has not been traditional, but it has been unique. Its filled with many beautiful memories. Thank you for everything."

Towards the end of Love is Blind: Sweden season 2, episode 9, Jakob and Karolina also got married at the wedding altar. Karolina confessed her love for Jakob and how he connected emotionally through a wall during their time in the pods. She shared:

"I had given up hope that a guy like that was out there somewhere. What I didn't know was that you would walk right into my life behind a wall and tear down all my defences. You saw me behind a wall."
