The much-awaited finale episode of Love is Blind Season 7 aired recently on October 23, 2024. Netflix's popular social experiment's seventh season ended as engaged couples advanced toward the final phase of the show.

Two of the three engaged couples chose to move to their wedding day and walked down the aisle. One of the couples was Tyler and Ashley.

Before the wedding ceremony, Tyler and Ashley were getting ready for their big day. Their friends and family accompanied them. Tyler's brother Bryan and his friends Tevon, Jake, and Ki'Andre were with him before the ceremony.

Later, just before the Love is Blind finale wedding ceremony commenced, Tyler's mother, Dawn, also came to see Tyler and had quite an emotional conversation about getting married and about Tyler's father.

Love is Blind: Tyler gets emotional while chatting with his mother

The Love is Blind Season 7 Episode 12 featured Tyler and Ashley's wedding ceremony. As Tyler got ready for his "big day," his mother, Dawn, came to see him. When she told the groom not to be stressed, Tyler got emotional. When she asked what was wrong and whether he was "second-guessing," Tyler refused.

"My emotions are all over the place," shared Tyler.

He added that it was a "lot." Seeing Tyler getting nervous about the upcoming ceremony, his mother said,

"But I've only heard you say, like, amazing stuff about her. You know? I don't think it's…I think it's normal. It's just normal jitters."

Tyler, still emotional, told his mother that he would be in "shambles" when Ashley would be coming out. Dawn told him to "keep it together."

"I can't. I've been trying. My palms are sweating." shared Tyler.

His mother assured him that he would be fine because he had never said, not even once, that he wasn't sure.

Love is Blind star chimed in on his and Ashley's time during the experiment's first phase when they had blind dates from behind the wall. He told his mother he had been sure from "behind the wall."

Dawn then asked Tyler if he was fine about not inviting his father to his wedding.

"Yeah, I thought about that this morning, like, him, not being here. Again, only because I was like, "He's probably sitting at home, like, 'Damn, I'm dying, and I don't get to go.'" But he put that on himself though. Like, I couldn't … There's no way I can be emotional, I guess, around him. That's a random, grown man."

His mother agreed and said that it was Tyler's day. The groom then shared how his grandma said she was glad his father was not there.

"You deserve to be happy. You've always given, gave, gave so much. You know what I mean? It's your turn. You definitely deserve this," shared Tyler's mother.

On the other hand, Ashley was accompanied by her friends and family members, including her parents and grandmother. They included Ashley's friends Telli and Kacie, her Godbrother Brian, her Godsister Brittany, and more.

She shared,

"I like that I found someone that loves as hard as I do. I feel safe. The protection physically is, like, cool. But, like, I feel protected emotionally, which is the most vulnerable part of myself that I don't share with everyone, so…I love that."

When her friend Telli asked who was the big spoon and who was the little spoon, Ashley shared,

"He's big in areas, and I'm big in areas. And the one thing I always tell people I love about him is that he allows me to be powerful. I don't wanna be put in this little box. I don't wanna be put in the kitchen. I have a career. I’m successful."

They discussed how Ashley's ex couldn't boil an egg while Tyler does a lot, including getting her coffee, as she described, "every single day."

While the Love is Blind star was getting ready for her wedding ceremony, they discussed various aspects of the wedding.

Fans can stream all seven episodes of Love is Blind Season 7 on Netflix and witness Tyler and Ashley's love story on the OTT.
