Netflix aired the Love is Blind Season 7 reunion on October 30, 2024. It featured the cast members from the current season, including two married couples and the rest, singles. Along with them, some of the show alums were also present during the reunion.

Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka, participants from the Love is Blind's seventh season, were also present at the reunion. Fans must remember how the duo called off their engagement right before their scheduled wedding.

One of the most highlighted parts of the reunion episode is when Nick is confronted by Hannah, Marissa, and a few other cast members, but he refuses. The male cast member was accused of calling Hannah a "grenade" and critiquing her during the show.

In an interview with US Weekly on November 1, 2024, the Love is Blind cast member shared more details about Nick's "grenade" comment.

"(Marissa) was the one who told me about the grenade comment and the rating thing. She had known in Mexico, but kept it from me for a while because she didn't wanna hurt my feelings, which I totally understand. … At first, (I thought), 'Why did you tell me sooner?' She was like, 'I don't wanna hurt your feelings,' which is valid," shared Hannah.

Love is Blind Season 7: Hannah Jiles chimed in on her former connection Nick's "grenade" comment

In her recent interview with the US Weekly on November 1, 2024, Hannah Jiles opened up about many things. One that became quite the topic of discussion was how Nick criticized and made fun of Hannah's looks throughout the social experiment.

When asked how she learned about the "grenade" comment, Hannah shared that her best friend from the show, Marissa, told her about that.

"I feel like the grenade thing would be only something that Nick would say. I knew he wasn't that sexually attracted to me or wasn't into me the whole entire time, whether he said it or not. He would make comments off camera where I kind of knew (that) we weren't sexually compatible — like, it just wasn't working."

The Love is Blind female cast member added that she was not surprised after learning of such a comment for the first time. Hannah shared that she was "just pissed" because she was quite honest about his looks.

Fans must remember that Hannah was the one who exchanged an apology. It was about the height difference that both participants had faced.

"I shouldn't have done that, but I was just straight up about it, and he was feeling the same exact way, but he just wasn't saying anything. I think that's why it hurt my feelings. If you felt like that, you should have told me," shared Hannah.

The female cast member mentioned that she was not sure if things might have worked out for Nick and her if they had been "honest" with each other since the beginning.

She believed they had "very different" communication styles. As Hannah shared, she and Nick were quite opposite in some matters.

"I think that we just have very different communication styles. He feels the exact same way I feel, but he does it secretly or tells his friends. I'm upfront. As soon as I met him, in Mexico, I was like, "Look, after the reveal, I was upset. I thought you were taller than me. I didn't think you're not attractive, you're really attractive."

In the latter part of her interview, Hannah shared that things might have gone differently if Nick had been upfront about not liking her looks. She also mentioned that doing that might not have hurt her feelings. Additionally, Hannah talked about Nick's infamous "90-day goal" book later in the interview.
