Netflix aired the Love is Blind Season 7 Reunion episode on October 30, 2024, at 6 p.m. PT. The episode revealed the latest updates between the engaged couples and single participants. The husband-and-wife duo Nick and Vanessa Lachey hosted the reunion featuring several show alums.
Fans have eagerly awaited the Love is Blind reunion episode since they witnessed two weddings in the show's finale. Garrett-Taylor and Tyler-Ashley were the couples that got married on the show and exchanged their vows. As viewers know, the latter faced various issues at the beginning of their relationship in the social experiment.
However, despite everything that happened, Tyler and Ashley came out the other side stronger. While supporting each other, they got married. During the Love is Blind Season 7 reunion episode, Ashley referred to her newly wedded husband Tyler as her "calmest love."
"Tyler is my calmest love. I've never felt so centred than I do when I'm with him. Whenever I have a bad day, you know, I used to - - I'd call my mom. I still call you sometimes. But now I call him first, you know, and it's good having a best friend that listens and cares for my heart," shared Ashley.
Love is Blind reunion: Ashley and Tyler's journey since their wedding
Show host Nick told Ashley and Tyler it was already a year since their wedding, and it was "hard to believe."
"So bring us up to speed. How's it going? How's everything been?" asked Nick.
Love is Blind star Tyler shared how things have been "great" and that the year since they married has been a lot of "laughter."
"A lot of growth, a lot of love. A learning experience," shared Tyler.
Vanessa then talked about how the first year after the couples get married on the social experiment is "crucial" to "solidify" their foundation. She mentioned how, once the married couple's story is revealed a year later, everyone wants to "chime in."
Ashley shared that she missed that "bubble" as it was nice. She was referring to the show's blind dates phase when things were not yet out while they were still in the dating phase.
The couple and the hosts also discussed Tyler being the sperm donor for his friend and the entire narrative around social media created by this piece of information.
"For me, I just know Tyler, in his heart, to know that it had to be hard to navigate with a friend. Way easier when you're removed. And with him growing up in a single-parent household, and in that scenario, when that happened with the divorce, it was very hard for him to remove himself and not be involved when this is now a single mom, right?"
Tyler chimed in on that conversation and said it was not a "game" for him. He mentioned that it was "till death do us part."
"We've seen all the "Get an annulment" and "Be done with him," said Tyler.
Ashley again jumped in and shared how she was aware and took on what she wanted to. She mentioned how it was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love. She added that the connection she shares with Tyler was something she would "never find again" and was "worth it all."
When Vanessa asked what was the best thing about being married to Tyler, the Love is Blind star revealed that Tyler was her "calmest" love." Rather than calling her mom, Ashley stated she mostly calls Tyler, sometimes calling her mother whenever she has a bad day.
"And like you said, the foundation that we have is so deep and beautiful. And, you know, we learned a lot of different things along the way, like dropping pride, and like, you know, like, dropping arguments," shared Ashley.
Further on the reunion episode, the show hosts discussed various vital incidents during multiple phases of the show's seventh season.
Fans can now stream the Love is Blind Season 7 reunion episode on Netflix, along with all 12 episodes of the social experiment.
