The eighth season of Love is Blind premiered on Netflix on February 14, 2025. Since the platform announced the show's eighth season, fans have eagerly awaited the release. The latest season features 32 singles searching for their "the one."

The debut episode of Love is Blind Season 8 featured all the participants' first dates with the rest of the singles. Later on, as they get to know each other, they can have dedicated dates with whoever they feel more connected with.

Netflix's Love is Blind Season 8 Episode 1 Recap: Singles go on multiple dates and try to find their vibe

The first episode of Love is Blind's eighth season, I Have A Husband, started with hosts Vanessa and Nick Lachey welcoming the singles.

Brittany, 34, went on her first date with Daniel, 29, a sales manager. His second date was with Taylor, a registered nurse. They talked about having kids and building a family. He mentioned that among his two siblings, his sister was born blind.

"And in the context of Love is Blind. Whatever happens with this whole thing, yeah, if I could just be a little bit like her, that'd be cool," said Daniel.

Both of them enjoyed their first date with each other.

Brad, 34, was a dentist, and he had his first date with Taylor, a nurse. Her next date was with Ben, an account executive.

Further on Love is Blind Season 8, Brittany, 34, a partnership executive, had her date with Devin, 28, a youth director and coach. They discovered their mutual interest, which was basketball. He asked Brittany her age and learned that he was a few years younger than her.

"Have you dated someone older than you?" asked Brittany.

Love is Blind star Devin mentioned he dated someone who was 30 while he was 24. Further on their date, they talked about kids and family.

Devin's next date was with Virginia, 33, a healthcare recruiter. He mentioned being a "big foodie," which she also mentioned that she was too. They also realized that they graduated from the same high school. He shared his age, 28, while Virginia mentioned hers, 33.

Virginia's next date was with Joey, 34, a physician associate, while his next date was with Monica, 27, who works in Digital Marketing. They talked about music, dancing, and how she enjoys her naps as they make her feel comfortable.

One of their mutual interest was swing dance. They also shared how they were quite close to their family. After learning about that, she mentioned him as a "straight-up green flag."

Monica's next date was with Dave (David), who asked her a question:

"What's wrong with you?"

He asked the same question on his other dates, including Taylor, Tiera, and Madison. His next date was with Lauren. After she mentioned her age, 30, he joked that she was "no longer attractive." He then mentioned having his OnlyFans account, which, again, he said he was "joking."

Dave's next date was with Molly, and they talked about their previous relationships. He opened up about his childhood and his parents.

During the next segment on Love is Blind Season 8, Alex had a date with Madison, 27, an artist. She opened up about her mother's struggle with drugs.

"It's really importnat to me that, like, people feel safe with me," shared Madison.

Listening to that, he said she was saying "all the right things."

Madison's next date was with Mason, a cinematographer. They talked about their jobs as creative individuals and enjoyed their "really deep" conversation later on.

His next date was with Meg, 30, an oncology nurse. He mentioned that her voice was "so gorgeous." They talked about being "weirdo" and alien recovery sites.

"They (Her parents) truly believe in hell and think I'm going there, and I feel so bad that I give them that anxiety," shared Madison.

Dave had a date with Molly, where they talked about watching scary movies and exorcism. She then shared about a "real exorcism" she had experienced. They also talked about physical intimacy and its importance.

Dave's next date was with Lauren, and they talked about their siblings. He mentioned that his sister wasn't "super thrilled" after him being on the social experiment. They also talked about their mutual liking for reading.

During Daniel and Taylor's date, the latter was "mad" because of her voice. It was because she couldn't speak because of a sore throat. Daniel mentioned that he had journaled about her the night before.

"Your name may be in my journal as well," replied Taylor.

They connected over their love for Christmas and family dynamics.

Brittany's next date was with Devin, where she opened up about cooking and food, while his next date was with Virginia. Joey and Monica had another date and discovered they had the same favorite movie, The Sound of Music. He also opened up about his sister and his parents' divorce.

Dave's next date was with Lauren. The duo discussed family dynamics, spending time with them, and the "lake life vibe." He also opened up about his mother's passing and not saying "goodbye" to his childhood house.

"If I do get married or if we do, I would love to get matching tattoos," shared Dave.

Dave's next date was with Molly, where he asked her about her tattoos, which was the conversation he had earlier with Lauren. Both of them shared that they liked each other.

Love is Blind Season 8 Episode 1 ended with female participants Madison and Molly discussing how the latter was dating Dave. Not knowing that Lauren was also dating him, Molly told Lauren about having a "husband," meaning Dave. Similarly, Dave was also confused about his potential connections.
